Anyone seen this film?
Mr H wants to see it at the weekend, but I'm not a massive fan of the spooky/horror genre. Provided they're not gorey I like watching those sort of films at the time, but then they play on my mind for ages afterwards and get in the way of my life. E.g. I travel a fair bit with work, and if I'm sleeping in a hotel (on my own, obviously) I'll find that scarey thoughts come into my mind and keep me awake.
Anyway, I wanted to know your opinion on this film. Is it gonna freak me out!

Im with karen and can't wait to see this film - right up my street and bound to scare the S**t out of me! Loving it. The previews look good and the fact that it still has to be rated makes it seem even scarier. I think it will be more psychological like 'The Others' with no gore which I prefer as imagination is better than anything onscreen.
Also can't wait to see 'Be Cool' which is a blantant rip off of me and my friends copyrighted name. The even say be cool, urgh! How dare they? :p
One film I saw recently that has disturbed me is the recent Texas Chainsaw Massacre - it was awful awful awful! Everything about it is nightmarish, the mask, chainsaw eek!
Lewie my step son went to see it and he said he was a bit disappointed cos its wasnt as scarey as he thought it would be, but it was ok - but I wouldnt take him as a reliable source!!!
Im a bit ohhhh and a bit ahhhhh about it - I dont do scarey movies I cant cope with the panic attack feeling I start getting

Well I saw it! And it scared the s**t out of me!
To be honest thought, it wasn't the scariest film I've ever seen. the fright is all in the suspense, and there is lots of suspense! I hope it doesn't play on my mind, though Idon't think it will.
Good film, and I'd recommend it if you like thrillers, with a slight supernatural edge. It wouldn't cut it for the die-hard fans of a horror genre though. Basically, if you like films like "The Ring", "The Others" or "The Sixth Sense" - it has the same sense of atmosphere. Spooky, but mentally spooky, rather than visually so.
