View Full Version : Brigitte is so two-faced
Critique 15-01-2005, 12:36 AM She has led Jacquie to believe that the rift between them is finally made up and that they are friends and Jacquie seems to be pleased about that, but now that Jacquie is out she keeps on and on about that bedroom being disgusting and how she can't possibly sleep in there and laughing with the others about the smell and all. Can't she just leave Jacquie a little bit of dignity.
How is Jacquie going to feel if she sees it - she's going to hate Brigitte again. I know I would. Don't they think further than today. Jacquie was saying she would stay around for the BB Party so there's every chance they will meet face to face.
They don't seem to know the meaning of the word "discretion" do they?
Fee For All 15-01-2005, 01:08 AM I think she will be oblivious to it - her saving grace is that although she is damned rude herself, she doesn't seem to mind taking it, and is sport enough to laugh at herself.
I think she'd have been just as outspoken about sleeping in anyone else's five-day old bedding - whether they had washed or not.
It's being in the public eye - no matter how - that keeps her alive. If you took that away from her or forced her into some sort of retirement, she'd be dead in days. She was happy to go into the house and I can't understand why she was surprised at what she found, as during the interview with Davina she said she'd been cooped up in a hotel for a couple of days with nothing to do. How could she not have been tempted to tune in and have a peek? Unless of course she is totally self-absorbed, which would then go some way to explaining why any criticism just goes straight over her head!
I do however feel it was irresponsible of BB to put someone of that age into the house. What if she'd died (and been voted to stay in  )...
So I don't think Brigitte is two-faced; too honest maybe!

   Fee for all, welcome to SO! Do you think BB would've left her in until the next round of nominations?
I hope Brigitte is not going to be horrible about Jackie. She's a very silly woman if she is. She managed to maintain her dignity when Jackie came in, I hope she can still do so without sinking to the level of say Jeremy and Lisa. Especially as her popularity has soared since Jackie went in, not that she knows that obviously.
Dolores 15-01-2005, 08:38 AM I dont' think Brigitte is two faced ......
....and anyway what's wrong with us two faced people?!
Eternity 15-01-2005, 09:15 AM If Brigitte wants to keep her current status of popularity, she needs to stop joining in the bitching of Jackie. I know she isn't aware of the public view, but a lot feel an empathy for her Ex MIL. Dig around the other BB sites, I love nosing in them, and you'll find a lot of Jackie fans out there! (I only post here mind!LOL)
I saw the live show last night where Briggite was refusing to sleep in Jackie's bed until she had a change of sheets.
Thats not two faced!
Would you want to sleep in a bed occupied by someone who hasn't had a wash for five days?
I certainly wouldn't. I wouldn't even sleep in the wet patch after my boyfriend has been round and he's my lover.
But if we are talking two faced, then fresh faced little Kenzi wins hands down. I know he'd had a skinful last night, and it's apparent he can't handle his drink. He was basically slagging Germaine off so much, but when she was in the house he was so sweet to her.
The boy has much growing up to do. Jeremy however should know better than to encourage him
Dolores 15-01-2005, 09:34 AM oh Bob - what did Kenzie say? I NEVER EVER see anything interesting on the live link
I wouldnt want to sleep in any bed that someone had been sleeping in that hadnt had a shower or bath for days! I dont blame Brigitte for that!
As for Kenzie - yep he is a one isnt he, I think he does it to make Jezza laugh, and he is just a baby and doesnt really know any better, unlike Lisa, Caprice and Jezza!
DID i see correctly when Davina announced that Jackie was evicted that Jezza was cheering and dancing.....right in front of her??? HOW RUDE.....or had I had too many sherbets????
I hope that Brigitte retains her dignity, she has been doing so well!
oh Bob - what did Kenzie say? I NEVER EVER see anything interesting on the live linkHe was slagging her off for being intelligent,he slagged her off about telling him not to shake the bottle of bubbly he got for his birthday he kept saying no Gremaine is alwight if ya know what I mean, I mean she is a f*ing professor from Cambridge, then he'd go into fits of giggles, that sounds a bit mild , but I can't remember everything, it went on for about ten minutes there was no doubt he was slagging her off. Alcohol losened his tongue, we saw a bit of the real Kenzi last night.

Well I agree, I dont see there is anything too faced about not wanting to sleep in someone elses five day old sheets, specially when they havent washed !
As for Jeremy laughing and dancing in front of Jackie when she was nominated - well, he didnt do himself any favours did he? Ok, Jackie was thrilled to be going, but even she looked offended as his obvious attempt to offend her.
He really is a conceited, arrogant, totally unfunny prat.
Going back to Brigitte and the bed though, it makes me wonder why she didnt just use the duvet and sheet she'd been sleeping on all week and get on with it until she could wash and dry the double bed sheets today .... celebs eh? they have to make an issue out of everything.
Eternity 15-01-2005, 03:57 PM That actually was the point that niggled me Pan, that Brig made such a big issue of it to the others when the solution was simple. Or even just a "I'll change the sheets tomorrow" and then closed the door.
The woman had gone, they were all happy about it, so why not just give it a rest for pities sake! I think only Bez was the one who didn't join in on the cackling over it, and he, poor lad, thinks he's gonna be next out!
Woodstock 15-01-2005, 06:07 PM ahh...they're all they all two-faced - just some are more so than others. And I think the whole groups treatment of The Jackie Monster was awful. Yes, she was overly opinionated and self-absorbed, but to disregard someone socially due to their appearance is wrong and I think it sends out the wrong messages to the viewing public, a large proportion of which will be schoolchildren in their teens. I recall an incident that occurred recently whereby a young girl who had been through chemotherapy had managed to grow her hair back only to have it set alight by a fellow pupil. CBB is boadcasting bullying (and it's exactly what it was) to impressionable youths just like the boy who committed that despicable act on the poor girl who had already been through enough heartache. If I digress, then tough. I thought The Jackie Monster handled every situation well. Jesus, does she have a thick skin! Everyone can clearly see the "lip thing" going on there and granted it looks f***ing awful. I cannot and never will understand why on earth they do that to their lips and come away thinking it makes them look more attractive. It just reinforces the fact that human beings see things in different ways and we tend to think that because we are all human we think along similar lines but it's just so damn obvious that some of us (well, actually quite a large number) might as well be from a different planet. Bottom line is, it's about tolerance and respect for others feelings, and even though it appeared that Jackie didn't even notice everbody clearly removing themselves from the table as quickly as possible once she herself had sat down, and even though when she had finally found her way to her bedroom in the dark to tuck herself into her bed, only to hear most of the others laughing raucously while she was sat there wondering what it was all about - well I think she knew the deal and I think she handled it with dignity. They should rename the show as Celebrity Big Bully....
Woodstock, could you please paragraph your posts in future.
A 6 inch block of type sends the eyes a bit dizzy old chum.

Thanks Eternity - that was the point I was trying to get across. Not about not wanting to sleep in a dirty bed! Who would want to as everyone says - but to keep going on and on about it was what made her seem so insensitive and 2 faced. As you said, she only had to say that and then leave it but she did go on and on labouring the point and encouraging the others to have yet another laugh at Jacquies expense.
Woodstock 15-01-2005, 07:57 PM sorree...just an old habit of mine. I get so caught up in the content of my messages that grammar becomes secondary
willing pupil, must try harder :)
A for effort
D for structure
Woodstock 15-01-2005, 07:57 PM .....and I forgot the full-stop after "secondary".........see?

I think that just about sums up how I feel about it all!
