We didn't get drunk at our reception. We organised things so that we had to leave after a couple of hours and drive away to our honeymoon, leaving two unfriendly families to be frosty towards each other in our absence. :devil:

When we got to our hotel we got nicely drunk in comfort together and giggled about them all.

No its teacher training today and tho I should really go in, couldn't cos the boys are off so I worked some days during the holidays instead - 4 infact so more than compensated.

Just been out in the lovely sunshine this morning.
Been down town and onto the pier, had a look at the lifeboat and while we were there, they must have been checking the engines cause they had them running.
Well we went to look at the front of the boat and all of a sudden the horn went, I looked in the cab and there was this guy having a right laugh that he had made me and my sons jump about 10 feet high.

But then walked along the beach, kids have brought loads of stones home :rolleyes: and walked back home through the woods and the park.
A lovely morning had by all.

ILS that is sooooooooo typical - used to happen all the time when I was a kid, used to drive my mum mad that it was never at its worse when she needed it to be! Honey is the only thing now that brings my eczema on, so I am only allowed to have it once a month :laugh:

Well, I'm here trying to finish a f***ing report thats due in tomorrow morning. Just staring out at the gorgeous warm sunny day outside and feeling sorry for myself.
My mate actually just popped in and asked me if I wanted to go to for a drink at the beer garden cos "everyone's down there". I actually declined.

So, what should I do?

a) Do the report like a good little boy and have a nice early night
b) Go for a cold beer or five in the lovely weather and stay up late doing the report?

You should do A but if I was you I would do B :D

Do 'A' then reward yourself with several pints of beer when your done....that way you aren't limited in the number of drinks by the fact you have to write the report after them!

Morning all unfortunately I have to work today and tomorrow as its the firms annual stocktake and I have to feed them all. As there are 160 of them its going to be batons with various fillings and fruit,crisps etc. There are only two of us to do it all so it will be quite hectic. I did prepare some of the fillings yesterday but there is still loads to do starting with Tesco to pick all the stuff up. Thats the worst bit Tesco on a bank holiday we are going nice and early just hope the bakery department have got our order done ready. I won't finish till 5 so thats most of the day gone and we start again at 7.30 tomorrow I'm glad its only once a year we get double time for it but I would rather have the three days off.

I don't hold out much luck though, not many garages open on a band holiday weekend.

I can't beleive that I slept 8 and half hours last night!
I woke up at 9.15 feeling a bit groogy and p'd off that I won't be first into the swimming pool this monring and avoid all the pesky kids with their ball games :angry:
