I'd given up on them, to be honest. But just now a fledgling landed in the bottom corner of the open window frame in our downstairs bathroom. He's about the size of a plum and is still there, gathering his wits and his breath. An inch further out and he'd have hit the ground - probably have been history, I reckon. So, a result! :thumbsup:

Good morning my lovelies. It's a grand day but in case anyone hasn't noticed :blush: I'm off on me hols on Thursday so I shall be slaving over a hot ironing board (if I can remember how you put the damn thing up) and trying to get organised.

I know I sound like an excited schoolgirl all over the place but this is the first "real" holiday I've had for years apart from about 7 years ago when I gritted my teeth and plucked up all my courage to fly to Spain to ensure that we did at least get a bit of sun. Unfortunately, it rained the whole week we were there :mad2: and Mr. C threw a temper tantrum (and a cup of tea) in the hotel dining room. :wacko:

It is a beautiful day here in West Sussex, very warm already! Unfortunately I have to spend the morning stuck in the office! Still Miss ils will be home somtime this afternoon and my little family will be complete again for a short while at least!

Well isn't it splendid, summer is here at long last, been for a lovely run with Bazeeeeeeeeeeel and he was a very good boy, lots of loud cheery 'MORNING's were passed happily from one dog walker to another (or running in my case). Just got back from the DIY store to stock up with things to aid me in the garden today..more planting and pruning and some preening.

So in the garden I go...got some old slapper coming to visit me later, which is nice.

I've just been to the carboot sale and bought a bread maker, I'm dead chuffed, £20 it was. It is new, they were selling all sorts of electrical equipment. I think they must be returns of something. Or dropped of the back of a lorry.

It's another beautiful morning here on the South Coast, blue skies and not a cloud to be seen!

Have just got home because I had just dropped Jamie off at school, when I get a call on my mobile from Alyssa's school, telling me she is having trouble breathing. She had suspected Asthma about 3 years ago, but nothing since. So I had thrown all her inhalers away. So I have to go pick her up, go sit in the doctors surgery for 30 minutes, go to Tescos get her prescription filled and then taked her back to school. Have finally just gotten to eat breakfast.

Hope she's ok Tiggs. It's possibly been brought on by pollen. My eldest's asthma was hayfever related. He's fine now, but still gets croup quite regularly.
