Watching John picking his nose and eating it got me to wondering (after I'd been sick! ) what annoying or gross habit would you bring into the house? Don't be shy we've all got at least one!!

For me it would be picking my feet and piling the dead bits of skin into a heap before I got up to put them in the bin! I couldn't go for 18 days without picking my feet .... tv cameras or not!

So what annoying habit would you take into the house?

Im afraid im a belcher - and a really bad one at that!!! Really loud deep ones that can on occasion echo  like the ones Caprice was on about that she cant do!!! Although they have got a little better since I had my gallbladder removed - blimey, they were real bad before that!

better as in "even louder" or better as in "quieter"? I'm so hoping it's the first option Queeenie!! Caprice's were just pathetic. She was saying "I'm so squeaky and girly I can't even burp" - silly girl! As for Lisa she is constantly burping (albeit quietly) I think this is a sign of stress and not relaxing, she's obviously taking down a lot of air by having her gob open so much!!

have no fear Dol - they are loud as ****........ just not as often - I prefer quality to quantity now

Although Mr Q would disagree, as if it happens in public (and it does.....often!!!) HE is the one that gets the dirty looks off people not me......pmsl!!!!!! I did it in Tescos a few weeks ago, and about 5 people turned and stared....at Mr Q.........while I was giggling and snorting like a schoolgirl.....

I like Caprice but I do think she puts on an act sometimes... im personally not a belcher, however we are all human and to say she simply cannot burp loudly sounds like a little campfire story to me... :drinking:

I had to laugh when she commented that she wouldn't take it up the rear as she would squirm with pain- well how does she know its sore unless she's tried it? HHHmmmmm, you tell me little miss "I've never done anything!"

Anyway that was a little :offtopic: so back to the question...

I don't think I have any disgusting habits but I could be annoying as I am a bit of a cleanliness freak as well as the fact that I take ages in the bathroom which may peeve people off?

I would be your worst nightmare - a total haridan!

I am a real pain for manners, especially table manners, and would drive everyone bonkers. I despise someone who eats with their mouth open so it's like looking into a yucky cement mixer, or talking with a mouth full of food so you end up getting splattered. I will also pick up on people who never say please and thank you when they should.

Maybe it's because I work with children, poor loves get away with nowt when I'm around! I would drive everyone right round the bend!

I am also someone who would continuously be trying to find my own 'space' by getting away from everyone now and then, just to have quiet moments alone.

After reading what Germaine said about the lack of cleanliness and hygene in the BB House, I think I would be a pain in the butt about cleaning - im a nightmare, I get called "monica" as apparently I remind my nearest and dearest of Monica off Friends - I dont think its a bad thing myself, but I can be a bit of a nag and get arsey if people dont clear up after themselves......

I did a wee "beatle juice" impression yesterday (allegedly  ) bacause I had been asking Miss Jade to pick her dirty thongs, bras, socks, jeans and tops, up off the bathroom floor since Thursday night, and I came home last night and they were STILL there - I was like a woman possessed while Mr Q sniggered and picked them all up and chucked em in her bedroom (THATS another story!!!!)

I don't think I have any too dreadful habits now, when I asked my other half all he could come up with was, I don't wrap the cheese up properly when I have used it. Not too serious!

I used to have some corkers but luckily I have grown out of them eg biting my toe nails, before you ask I can still get my foot in my mouth but I no longer want to - maturity is a wonderful thing.

I think my worst habit is leaving the tops of things, toothpaste, face cream, stuff like that. I am extra fussy about making sure things are covered in the kitchen though - weird!

Mr. C goes mental about it but I retaliate with some of his anoying habits, like dropping his clothes on the bedroom floor and when asked to put them in the laundry bin he puts them on top!

talking of clothes in the bedroom, I have a habit of when I take something off from wearing one time, I will put it on the chest of drawers. The item of clothing isn't dirty enough to put in the wash, but I don't want to wear it the next day.

Consequently, after only a few days I have a huge pile of clothes on the drawers all creased up with nothing to wear in the drawers. So I then go and shove it all in the wash and start again.
Why I cannot just put stuff in the washing basket I'll never know:laugh:

Oooops, I do that too Andrea - in a neat tidy pile though, so it doesnt get shoved back in the wash, but I dont know WHY I dont put them back in the drawers in the 1st place?!?!?!?!?!

Cos the rest of the time I am (allegedly) a complete anal control freak with regards to tidyness and cleanliness - me thinks one spent too long living on ones own!!!!

I am trying so hard not to get stressed out about mess, but when I get home from work and Jade and Lewie have not been at college or school so the place is a tip (after I have left it spotless before coming to work), I turn into a woman possessed (by Kim and Aggie I think!!!!)

I dont think Ive got any really gross habits a la John but Im sure, should we all be sharing a dorm in the BB House, you would probably all gang up on me eventually because I talk in my sleep. Quite loudly too.

Mr P has had many a fascinating conversation with me apparently .... Only last week in woke up with a jump as I yelled, "Bring yer cardigan, it might be damp!!!!!!!!!" at 4.20am. Never seems to wake me though ....

Andrea. I too confess. I am very very guilty of this much to the annoyance of Mr B. There are little piles of clothes all over the bedroom in various stages of progression eg. just ironed waiting to go away, worn once waiting to go away, ready for the wash bin, lying on the floor near the wash bin, so very nearly there and finally in the wash.

"I despise someone who eats with their mouth open so it's like looking into a yucky cement mixer, or talking with a mouth full of food so you end up getting splattered"
(quoting Eternity)

Did you see Bez then the other evening? While having one of his late-night feasts with Bridget, he was doing just the thing you despise. White crumbs raining down from his mouth as he slurred out a series of incoherent sentences. It was fantastic viewing! (only slightly less compelling than watching a topless John retiring to bed last night, an image which incidentally influenced a dream/nightmare I had this morning....but that's another story, and I'm trying to flush it from my memory.

I do this too and it is really annoying to me as well as anyone else.
I also leave the fridge door open even though I shut it. But not quite.
I like mess, messy people, messy habits, so maybe that is really annoying especially to the well ordered.

Not just you Dol!
When I wash my hair it tends to fall out quite a bit (zinc defiency apparantly, but quite normal) I stick it on the side of the bath or on the tiles. Dead skin often ends up there to along with anything else that is floating in the bath water.
It usually gets removed when I remember (always before the next bath though!)
This morning when I was cleaning my teeth I glanced over at the bath and remembered there was something I was going to do yesterday.

Lol - that reminds me that I am like that with food. If I use, say, half a tin of baked beans I can't bring myself to throw good beans in the bin so I carefully put them in the fridge and then, hey presto, a couple of days later I can throw them out without a conscience because they have had it

Oooh no Dol, don't wipe it on the settee, give it a flick, see how far it goes and hey presto, you have your own gross olympic competition.
