I don't think anyone hates John more than he hates himself. Sad really.
I'm glad his out for his own sake. His strategy worked then!

View Full Version : John Evicted! Bob 17-01-2005, 08:43 PM I don't think anyone hates John more than he hates himself. Sad really. I'm glad his out for his own sake. His strategy worked then! Buzz 17-01-2005, 08:44 PM I don't think anyone hates John more than he hates himself. Sad really. I'm glad his out for his own sake. His strategy worked then! I think your are right Bob, listening to him in that task I nearly NEARLY felt sorry for him I think he knows his faults, but that does not stop himbeing obnoxious. Dolores 17-01-2005, 08:46 PM great exit!!! Lisa and caprice begging - don't slag us off too much out there!!! silly cows! and then Lisa saying see him next Sunday - (actually I'm sure she'll see him a lot sooner!) - and him saying "I never want to see any of you again" and absolutely meaning every word of it ... and not even sounding spiteful - just true to his odious self!!! Bob 17-01-2005, 09:06 PM I was surprised he wants Lisa to win, but now thinking about it maybe he sees a lot of himself in her (please no one try and twist that) she pocesses a lot of his qualities. Lisa is another one who tends to speak exactly as she finds, but unlike John she does have some tact, and that is important. Flip 17-01-2005, 09:12 PM If John could just jump that hurdle [hey get the horse racing theme] of self-loathing - he might be a more likeable person?? Hilarious interview though - Davina's face when he went off on one about the bloomin Diet Cola?? Andrea 17-01-2005, 09:14 PM He still got in a rant about the diet cola, it certainly was no joke to him. Glad he's out though and Bez is still in there. ils 17-01-2005, 09:17 PM He still got in a rant about the diet cola, it certainly was no joke to him. Glad he's out though and Bez is still in there. He is still very angry about it, isn't he? I'm glad it was John that was evicted and not Be too :) Eternity 17-01-2005, 09:21 PM *Dirty Snigger!* He got that Davina feeling uncomfortable though didn't he! For those that are still to interview him - may their souls rest in peace! Andrea 17-01-2005, 09:25 PM For those that are still to interview him - may their souls rest in peace! Oooh yeh, especially when they bring up the diet cola, cause you just know they are going to repeat that until it dies a death.........or John walks out:laugh: Eternity 17-01-2005, 09:36 PM It wasn't even as close a vote as some thought, I think John got 37% or 39%, and Bez got the rest! Pandora 17-01-2005, 10:05 PM Davina's face was a picture during the interview - Ive never seen anyone so cowed in my life ! The Booby had a matching Buffalo jacket  ! Glad he is out though ...... Lisa next please. Ceridwen 17-01-2005, 10:34 PM I felt really choked when John was talking about how much he hates himself. It's clear that what he does is a kind of self fulfilling prophecy - he expects everyone to hate him anyway, so it's much easier to take if he ensures he does something to make it happen. The people who booed him are a bunch of thickos who don't understand the first thing about the human psyche. The poor man is utterly wretched and desperately needs psychological help - what's the point of booing someone who despises himself already? Ceridwen 17-01-2005, 10:34 PM PS. And I bet it will be dead boring now he's gone. Pandora 17-01-2005, 10:46 PM PS. And I bet it will be dead boring now he's gone. Too true, we know have to put with the blandness of Jeremy, the smug head girl attitude of Lisa, Brigitte's occasional alcohol fuelled weirdness, Bez's head and eye rolling, Capweece's preening, Kenzie telling everyone he is only nineteen. Again. ..... borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring ! Woodstock 17-01-2005, 10:52 PM Now everyone can gun for "The Lisa of two evils"..... Eternity 17-01-2005, 10:56 PM Let's all not for for any of them, and then they'll all get evicted at the same time! Cat 18-01-2005, 06:24 AM BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! this is catastrophic!!! I really don't think I can be bothered to watch anymore. He was the most entertaining one in there and as proved the truest to himself. Bez made my stomache churn as I watched him wandering round the house whilst they were in that room doing finger signs at the camera's; he looked out of control and mad....I certainly wouldn't want to be in there with him anymore. His wobbling of head and erratic movement of eyes is quite disconcerting...and what is that he is cultivating on his cheek? Big mistake. maxine 18-01-2005, 09:27 AM I was surprised that John was so complimentary about Lisa. 'Fantastic'? I'm sure she's got a different word to describe him! He couldn't quite make up his mind about who he wanted to win though. First he said Brigitte and then he said Lisa. MariaRob 18-01-2005, 09:58 AM Do you think Jon REALLY wanted to go? Or was it just a brave face as he knew he would be voted out. The House will certainly be a duller place without him and also Jackie. Now we have the dullsville Iloveme characters pretending desperately that they “don’t want to win” left. I went off Bez yesterday as he was so childish and sulky about being nominated, er its only a GAME mate. Also refusing the take part in the task, what a prat, and then he was voted IN. I think he felt a fool. What a plonker! Lisa certainly showed her true colours last night, get this witch out next! bridge 18-01-2005, 01:23 PM I am sorry John has gone for one reason, he should have stayed to give them all hell! Davina lost control of John in the interview  ,that was nice to see! i hope Bridget wins. Flip 18-01-2005, 01:45 PM The thing with John is that he repeats everything he says in one interview verbatim in the next - he said exactly the same on GMTV as he did with Davina, and almost with the same amount of anger and shouting. He hooks onto one or two sayings that may have recieved a laugh, a snigger or an outrage or audible gasp and repeats it and repeats it and repeats it. He is good value, but like a condom can only be used once. maxine 18-01-2005, 02:08 PM He hooks onto one or two sayings You're so right, Flip. I heard him say Brigitte was 'like a meringue' about 4 or 5 times - and it wasn't even funny the first time. MariaRob 18-01-2005, 02:13 PM Too true, we know have to put with the blandness of Jeremy, the smug head girl attitude of Lisa, Brigitte's occasional alcohol fuelled weirdness, Bez's head and eye rolling, Capweece's preening, Kenzie telling everyone he is only nineteen. Again. ..... borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring ! Talking of B's alcohol fuelled wierdness did anyone notice how she puts her hands to her hips (like she is about to draw two guns) and says "Diggerder". She did it when she first went into the house and Davina was laughing at her, she did it again after the Bavarian evening, so its obvoiusly some strange thing she does when she has had alcohol. Dont know what it's supposed to mean! jaycee 18-01-2005, 04:10 PM I've assumed she was saying 'Diggetty' as in 'Hot diggetty dawg' - still have no idea what she is banging on about though Pandora 18-01-2005, 04:18 PM You're so right, Flip. I heard him say Brigitte was 'like a meringue' about 4 or 5 times - and it wasn't even funny the first time. Too true. He also uses "Caprice Ltd" and "grubby little bras" a lot. A strange man, full of self loathing, belligerent and offensive and yet strangely childlike and frightened when it came to the task which involved sitting in the little train thing and being blindfolded. Like Jackie Stallone said, "John, Im not sure if how you are is an act or not, but if it isnt, may I suggest you use the money you get from this programme to see a good psychiatrist....." Cat 18-01-2005, 10:26 PM I thought John was hilarious tonight on BB, first doing the dance in the garden, but most of all with his doll in the diary room. I am bereft. karenh 19-01-2005, 06:51 AM I thought John was hilarious tonight on BB, first doing the dance in the garden, but most of all with his doll in the diary room. Gotta agree with you there. John's "Doll" interview was really funny. It is only the second time I have roared laughing in this series (the first time being the Kenzie/Jezz "log" discussion). Although John had lots of unlikeable qualities, deep down I think he desperately wants to be popular - he just doesn't believe that it's possible. But there were moments when he couldn't hold back his pleasure at a compliment e.g. when Jeremy's "doll" said that he was the HM who had come furthest in terms of development - he looked really chuffed! And when John came out of his own interview to cheers and laughter, he couldn't hide how happy it made him. I thought that was sweet, but also a bit sad, because if John believed in himself, I reckon LOADS of people would like him! Ceridwen 19-01-2005, 05:11 PM Mr C has actually met John McCririck and said he was a really lovely, helpful guy. Such a shame he didn't let that show through more often...I shall really miss him. (Though possibly not his grimy Y-fronts). Pandora 19-01-2005, 05:17 PM Mr C has actually met John McCririck and said he was a really lovely, helpful guy. Such a shame he didn't let that show through more often...I shall really miss him. (Though possibly not his grimy Y-fronts). I reckon John had the biggest game plan of all - ie stick a load of money on himself to be evicted first, be as obnoxious as possible and alienate all the housemates/viewing public and bobs yer uncle ! Shame it backfired  Cat 19-01-2005, 05:31 PM John's "Doll" interview was really funny. It is only the second time I have roared laughing in this series (the first time being the Kenzie/Jezz "log" discussion). ! My other time was when John was bumbling out of the diary room and turned back shouting "SHUT UP...JUST SHUT UP" It makes me roar every time. I too think he was a bit sweety. I am still unsure where to put my support now...I'm really not bothered about any of them...apart from Bez and Caprick, can't stand either of them. |
