Oo love quizzes...same thing happens to us re freinds...you start with one team and end up going along with enough people to make four or five!

We used to have a team of ringers attend our local and well....since us local locals didn't like the idea of them winning every week we used to amend each others scores all the time so they wouldn't! :naughty:

I'm gonna have a restful evening tonight...will veg in front of the box!

I went to a different pub last night, and it was WEIRD. I went with a friend of mine who was born and raised in Suffolk so she seems to know everyone and their dog.

So we went in this pub, and it felt really rough to me. I know i have led a pretty sheltered life, but everyone had either been in prison or was just about to go inside for a long stretch.

I even got told that i could hire a hitman for £100 !!!!

He's just worked my last speck of a nerve to the snapping point. He's off on sick leave due to his back, he's had 2 disc operations and 2 shoulder operations in the last 10 years, and he keeps coming up with all the 'projects' that I can do as he cannot. Like I don't have work with the psycho 3 yr. olds ALL WEEK at daycare and then come in and try to cook and keep the house picked up and clean drawers on everyone. Oh no!!! Let's walk all over the yard (7 acres) and trim up trees and bushes and let's sand the wall in the bathroom so it can be painted, yada, yada, yada...I just want to get the main stuff done and REST and start another week at work!! If he was working and I TRIED to drag him around whipping up all these 'loverly' projects, he'd have a calf and cry the horror of me forcing him into additional things to do when work was hard enough!! Phewwwwwww, I feel slightly better. I'll keep him bound and gagged for a bit and see how he's healing before I try something more 'permanent'.

I have my evening planned already - and it ain't fun.

As soon as i get home i have to clean out the rabbit (who is starving and neglected) plus clean out the litter tray. I then need to tidy up a bit as all the furniture and carpet cut offs are everywhere and im FED UP of stepping over them all.

I will then try and hoover any available areas and clean the bathroom.

Finally i will attempt to tackle the ironing, which has piled up into mammoth proportions and sort out the knickers and socks (as ive run out).

I will then cook, eat and collapse on the sofa.

I am nursing a sore face. Today I had a rodent ulcer removed from the side of my nose, it was fine until the injections wore off and then it hurt like hell. I have stitches and an unsightly dressing covering it and now it looks as if I am getting a black eye.

Not likely Cat my camera is playing up. A rodent ulcer is basal cell carcinoma, not as nasty as it sounds as its benign but it can grow and needed getting rid of. I had a biopsy a couple of weeks ago and todays appointment was to discuss the results but as my doctor had an opening in her schedule she thought it was a good idea to see to it now.

We really want one each, mainly to go to the pub and back. Its about a 12 mile round trip, which i can manage on a normal bike in the sping / autumn - but in the summer i really cant cope with the exercise and heat.

So we are looking at these bikes .... and i even had a dream about them last night

We have been looking at these for a few years now. They have really come down in price. We do a lot of cycling in Wales which as you know is quite hilly and we think the time has come to have some assistance getting up the larger hills. We've been to the beach, and I'm now sat here with my third glass of wine, chilling out.
No work for two more days, and just relaxing.

Actually, on the beach tonight, hubby found a slip of paper that was connected to a bit of a burst balloon.

It's one of those balloon race thingy's.

I've filled it all in with the kids names, the furthest balloon away from it's starting point gets a prize.

This one came from..

Well, last night i was taken out for an inpromptu dinner. Mr.B must of realised he had been a miserable git of late ... so he asked if i fancied a meal out. Of course i said yes :wink2:

So i had a delicious meal consisting of chicken stuffed with tomato and basil, with motzarella (sp) cheese of top. New potatoes and veggies. Scrummy.

Tonight i will be cleaning the house up a bit as it looks a right state.

It's Friday, it's BB Eviction Night and a new Housemate going in. No prizes for guessing what I'll be doing then ;) I must remember to turn the lights off and not to answer any phone calls too. Addicted? Moi? Course not, or I would have cancelled my holiday next week :D (they won't give me my money back - boo hoo)

I came in horribly drop dead exhausted the past 2 nights. Tonight after making some arrangements to meet with hubby's sister and BIL (see RELIGIOUS thread in Soapbox) tomorrow evening, I went and crawled in bed...kid germs and all and passed out and have just gotten up and changed into jammies and I'm catching up here. The heat and humidity have been rough lately, but I think I'm having a 'flare' w/ my fibromyalgia as the aches and pains have been kicked up and my right foot has been swollen for about 3 days...just enough to aggravate me. Dr. looked at it yesterday when I went in for 6 month check-up, VAD flush, and med re-fill and that is her conclusion since I haven't hurt it and the only other explanantion is we have these big bloomin' fire ants and I thought one got me the other day but no red spot to be found!

Tonight i will quickly get my jobs done. I want to make a small start on cleaning the house to lesen the load tomorrow. So i will mop the kitchen and bathroom floors, and tidy the dining room (even though it wont be used, but i will have the door open so it needs to be clean).

I will also be waiting for my tesco delivery to arrive and pray that everything is there or i will have a dash to the local shops tomorrow to buy more supplies.

Then i will flop on the sofa with a lager and a large back of crisps and watch Big Brother and 8 out of 10 cats.

Cockers is working so I may well wander on over to cyperspace after BB.

Or I may just fall over drunk.

I'm hoping hubby will call demanding that I meet him in the pub after work. However, I suspect he won't because there's a chicken in the fridge that expires today.

After eating said roast chicken, no doubt I shall dip my toe in the SO ocean for a while.

Catching up on all I have missed since I allegedly tore up the 'puter on Saturday. Evidently, according to some esteemed member of our little group, I've lost my mind and I'm running loose in my local supercenter!! But, I daresay, I've just been working and reading and waiting for the computer to be repaired. Oh, and having a day off work for this day about some little skirmish with some people that inhabit a couple of islands and stuff...http://www.invision.smileyville.net/smilies/snf (41).gif

Tonight i am off to a place called Leiston, and im not looking forward to it.

Basically its where our X-landlord lives, and some of the locals have a pressie / card for him. We were meant to see him last Thurs at our regular pub, but he couldnt make it.

So we are going 'en mass' to see him. The trouble is, Leiston is ROUGH and i think if you look at someone the wrong way you will get a glass in your face !!

My plan is to say hello, watch him open the pressie, have a quick drink ...... and leave. I will then no doubt go back to the tranquility of our local.

Eric's sister is away for a few days so she's asked us (and jordan the woofer) to dog sit her two mildly insane mutts in her house.

Which is cool, 'cos it's a mega house and she's laid on all kinds of goodies in the food and gargle department, and said she doesn't mind if we have peeps over for a sesh.
