In between the thread hopping/posting here, I'm doing laundry, I've loaded the dishwasher, we've cooked and ate supper, put up the left-overs, ran to the store for a few after dinner treats, just stuff. I have weaned my e-mail down from 3000+ of cack and spam to 23 things from peeps I will read, and need to read. I have several e-mails to compose and send. Some e-cards to send out. Then when all that has been done, I'll try some reading mebbe...I MAY try my hand at winning something in the Arcade. Fat chance that though with all you CHAMPIONS!!

Tonight I am doing sweet fanny adams.

lovely.

Urk is being suspiciously quiet about my birthday tomorrow, which means he's either got summat up his sleeve or the mucker has forgotten it completely.

Will report his vital signs on line in 24 hours depending on outcome.

Congratulations in advance for your birthday tomorrow.

I dont have any plans for this evening. Mr.B isnt home until 8:30pm, and really i should be tackling a pile of ironing ... but i so cant be bothered.

So here i am. I will have to go and cook a sweet and sour turkey, but thats about it. Then tonight i plan to snuggle the animals and watch films.

Oooh, I am sure you will be spoilt rotten TE - have a good one when it comes!

Tonight I am going to make some kind of an effort to write out Christmas Cards - they need to be given to the Scout Post by 5th so I am cutting it a bit fine!

I have been busy with jewellery orders and just done a 3 day craft fair at the weekend - it's the first time I have done this but it was very, very worth it!:good: So I have got a few orders to make but I ordered beads today so I'll make a start on them once I receive them.

I am pretty chilled out tonight though as I had a full-body massage today and it was abosulte heaven!

And tomorrow I am going with Abbie & her nursery of 28 other kids to The Singing Kettle.........think I'll pop the paracetomal just now!

How my son used to love the Singing Kettle :good: when he was about 2 or 3. For years he used to say "toe" with a scottish accent due to a Singing Kettle song! bless.:sun:

Actually, you know what I loved it!! Hats off to Cilla & Arty, they have been doing this for years and they are brilliant at what they do!

The kids loved it, I was cheering and waving my hands in the air, screaming when they told me to and got all excited when Santa arrived on the stage. Have to say I do tend to get a bit emotional at these sort of things.

We're are definitely going to their Wild West Show in the summer!:good:

I was working from home today. Which meant that for once, I ws at home when Mr Figgs got home (arouong 6:30pm).

He suggsted that we grab a bite to eat out. I needed no persuading....

Problem is, when your night starts at 6:45pm with food, it finishes at around 9:30pm.

We were home for 9:45.

He's in bed now and nagging me to come to bed too. He's feeling a bit frisky My night "in" is just about to start.....

I dont know what to do this evening, im in a dilema.

Tonight there is a party going on in the local pub. Its one of our friends birthday parties. We were told about it, and we said we couldn't go as Mr.B was working late. Well, he is now home early, but to be honest the reason i personally said no was because of money ... and lack of it.

Last night is normally 'pub night' but we stayed home due to money.

But now im kinda thinking ... sod it. Life is too short. It wouldn't normally be a problem, but in February we have to pay home / contents insurance, car insurance and the household bills.

A night on the town (or village) could cheer us up ... but it would mean one of the above bills would have to go on credit instead of paying them all outright.

On the other hand im looking forward to BB and Ugly Betty so i would be happy at home .... but i do feel like im letting our mates down. When we had a party for our birthdays last year, i would of been gutted if they hadnt of turned up.

Hmmmmmm - what to do :wallbash:

Tongiht, I am doing nothing at all. Thank God!

Since the start of the year I've been all over the place for work, and a lot of the travel has involved leaving on a Sunday (which rules out Satruday socialising). The 3 free weekends I've had have been taken up with my birthday, my friends 40th birthday and a visit to Wales to see my parents.

This is the first weekend of 2007 that we can truly call "ours". And of all the things we could opt to do, we have chosen to do nothing at all.

Bliss!

Sheesh, I make 1 spelling mistake in 3 paragraphs and you think I must be drunk! Well, I guess it says something about the high quality of my work usually.

I'm afraid I was just being careless. I did have one or two glasses of a lovely bottle of Merlot, but at the time I made that post I was a long way from being drunk.

i'm sat here catching up...which isn't hard to do lately...WHERE'S EVERYBODY???, and laughing my head off b/c of something that happened at work today. we have be registering our children for the summer and fall session this week in the church parlor (I direct the First United Methodist Church's Daycare and Preschool) and it has a wall of windows. it's all boring b/c everyone's forgot and/or waiting to the last minute...when, out of nowhere comes this guy in orange pants and sock feet, NO SHIRT!!, running like all get out. then the phone rings and it's one of the teachers on the playground (which is kittycorner to the City Hall/Courthouse/Jail:unsure: ) calling on her cell saying they are all squished up in a corner b/c the police have run from the building and are hauling tail in cop cars b/c this guy has escaped. i have meantime run out to the road b/c one of the moms is out there having a come-apart b/c she thought he was going to carjack her. then we see him taking off his socks, then his pants, and go between 2 houses. i told the police that came up where he went and where his pants were and comforted the mom. then they called back and said they had him in custody. i was laughing when the police lady came to get his pants and asked her if he was buck naked, she said he was in boxers. so when i get back into the parlor with my girls that are helping me with registration, we're wondering what he was thinking...that he'd look less suspicious in just his boxers than in his orange 'jail' pants and sock feet and no shirt!!:shocking: it was funny after it was all over with...he only got about 10 blocks and he had to work at that. we figure he's in the infirmary right now b/c most of the cops chasing him were the fat ones and they weren't real happy with him!! just a slice of my day. haaaaaaa!!

Quite right. You have to pick your times for maximum shock value.

Remember that night in the chatroom when me, you, Cat and a mysterious person who had just stumbled into there were chatting? We were calling each other c.u*nts at every other sentance, and the mysterious other was most shocked. I remember that they thought we were teenagers.

Tonight I've got some cold beers in the fridge, lime ready to pop in the top, and I'm going to enter loads of comps cause I've just had a boost and won 2 tickets to the rugby final in Twickenham on Saturday!

Jammie moo... Have a fab time Saturday...not that it's possible not to! :)

I have our new top boss visiting during the last hour of my watch...he looks a bit like Alan Sugar and has a background in managing the NHS...I thought we were down the swannie before now I'm certain of it! :(

you must pop into the now defunct receipe thread and tell us what you do with them Fee! will you be popping them in the dishwasher?!

I would imagine they would have a tough swordfish texture and taste dry ... enjoy!

will you have any left overs for Crocodile sandwiches? and will you make them snappy?!

20 years, schmenty years. You're as young as you feel, young lady. Hopefully, you should be feeling 27 about now. :w00t:

no akshooolly he wants to go for a chinese.......and as its his birthday he gets to choose..so it's all you can eat crispy duck!!

and really the point of this ws for you to tell me I don't LOOK old enough to have a 15yr old son....not what I am going to eat.

Patsy

I completely resemble that remark.

I was just talking about this very thing (the 15 year old son bit, not the birthday bit) recently. I can't get my head round it. I mean, I know I've been with him all the time he's been growing up, but he's suddenly become this other person. How/when did that happen? It's just too bizarre. Do you know what I mean? Just over the last year or so he has changed so much and so quickly I can hardly believe he's the same person.
