Why is Jeremy f’ing every other word? Its really beginning to get on my nerves, don’t get me wrong I can swear as good as anyone and all of the housemates are swearing but Jeremy is just using the f word ALL the time. I think he is just showing off in front of Kenzie but its making him look an inarticulate ****!

I think you may have point there........

Although I am the last person to comment on swearing - I have a mind and gob like a sewer.......I can behave myself when I have to, but I prefer not too:devil:

The problem with Jeremy is that he's not a 'natural swearer', he is putting it on to try to fit in with Bez and Kenzie, who are natural with it. It just sounds so false and wrong on him

I was always told that swearwords were used by people who didn't have control of their language and it was a 'filler' for not knowing the right words! ....so there!!

that is so true Eternity, when my middle sis swears we all fall about laughing as it just doesnt suit her.......

and I recall my mum saying something similar about them being "fillers" for not knowing the right words!

Funny thing is, the only time I refuse to swear is when I am having a row with someone, its sooooo easy to slip in an Eff or an Shhhhh or a B isnt it - so I make a point of trying my hardest not to - sometimes I have to slip something nasty in as a retaliation

Totally agree, its more hurtful to call someone a stupid old woman than an effing c.

I think its true that its Jeremy's way of "filling" a sentence until he finds something interesting to say... (ahem  ).

However, Ive noticed that he swears more around Bez and Kenzie than anyone else, therefore I reckon its a subconscious way of trying to prove he is manly, tough and one o the lads ...

Keep trying Jez .... lol
