I was on my course today for my new job and we played a game which involved thinking of as many groups/solo artists beginning with the letter D.

My offering was 'Deep Purple' and you know what? No one had heard of them! :ohmy: Admittedly I had 15 years on most of them but even so..... :sad:

I worked in a electrical retailers - **** job but there you go - anyway this woman came in asking if we did canisters for Soda Streams.....the sales assistant who was all of 12 had never heard of a soda stream........how old did I feel???

This takes me back! This started just as I became a stay at home mum and we always watched this!

We were talking about Live-Aid at Christmas Day Dinner and my two 16 year old nephews and 15 year old neice weren't even born when Live Aid took place!!! They didn't even know hardly any of the original line-up and I hardly knew any of the new line-up! I felt ancient!
