Well if it is then bring on the rest of the year! :D

HOW HAS IT BEEN FOR YOU ALL SO FAR?

I did make a boo boo though - frantically rushed and walked for ages to get to the physio and it turned out I was 2 days early! Urgh! But it worked out well. Not really been a depressing day, more of an anxious one. Had biology exam this morning and hope the formular of the day hasn't put the mockers on it.

Today, I spent an awful lot of money on travellers cheques. My card now isn't working, so I'll have to ring the bank tomorrow. Will anyone answer at this hour? The answer, probably, is yes, but the truth of the matter is that I can't be bothered to deal with it.

I also went for lunch on South Bank with My Friend Helen Who Lies A Lot. Today she tried to claim that a girl from our school had begun a relationship with the middle-aged head of English, although with further investigation it transpired that they had just spoken on the phone. So not really a relationship of sorts.

Tomorrow, I am off to a cheese and karaoke night. HRNK!

cheerio!

Sharks - hope things went well with biology??

Scoobs - hope you enjoyed your cheeeeeeeeese?? Tell me did you sing?? And wtf does HRNK stand for you young whippersnapper???:wink2:

I had such an undepresssing day? I had a long meeting with a friend and we discussed an up and coming dinner party we were catering for - then discovered we had mutual friend sin common from 15 years ago - yikes!!!!!!

And I had a call from an old friend - it meant the world to me, although old is tretching it somewhat - primarily cos she is younger than me!!!

Oh Happy days!!!!

I'm feeling poo now....

I mentioned to my mum that I wasn't going to the BAFTA's this year as my mate would be away and I didn't want to go alone. Mum then said she would like to go. I told her all the minuses of such a trip (standing around for ages in the cold after a very early start to get passes for the grandstand and a late journey home)....mum was still keen so I said I would try and get the leave that I hadn't put in for yet because I hadn't planned on going.

I looked at the watch bill today to find that no-one from my wath is on leave but because we are short staffed due to people leaving etc. I can't get off. I tried swapping shifts with someone who would have been more than happy to help if only he hadn't just arranged a night out yesterday......I have just had to leave a message for my mum to say I shall have to take her next year instead...well at least try....

I'm doubly gutted as this would have been the first year I was going when the awards weren't being dominated by LOTR and their squealing fans who don't know anyone bar those who are in the LOTR movies.....These are people who don't recognise the likes of Benicio Del Toro, Val Kilmer and even Rene Zellwegger!

Ho well......I can't make the TV ones either because of ruddy work! :ranting:

She will Scoobs...she will want to bring you home and adopt you but I'm afraid you have a trip to be going on....the BAFTA's are on the 12th Feb this year and I believe that is after you have fled to greener more bug filled lands! :bye:

't'as been quite a cheerful day for me.
I have my broadband connected and it is brilliant.
Kids went to school nicely, no moaning.
Have had a pleasant dinner, of cheese and ham sandwich and a chocolate muffin, with my youngest son.
And the washing is getting done.

Oh poo, that means there will be ironing needed to be done later:sad:
Oh well, it can't go good all the time.

I was gutted to find out that 24th January was the most depressing day of the year - it was Abbie's 2nd birthday, so it certainly wasn't depressing for us. Balloons, presents and loads of birthday cake.........no, we had a FUN DAY!!! Roll on the next one!

Eric was a legend....a genius....we shouldn't allow one lapse in common sense overshadow the career of a truly unique figure of adoration for the OT masses. Long live King eric......and his seagulls and trawlers too...

......and I bet you 'gulls wouldn't have minded him seeing out his career in the lower echelons at the old Goldstone Ground.......(I shouldn't be slagging off the old Seagulls anyway - I used to have in my possession both the Home and Away Brighton & Hove jerseys, when they were sponsored by some obscure construction firm whose name escapes me. Also have one of the club's fanzines somwhere in the midst of all my OT matchday programmes)
