Sorry Cat. Your poll ain't varied enough for me.

My first choice would've been Kit Kat. Then Chocolate Digestive. Then Jaffa Cake (and yes, it IS a biscuit). And finally - last choice - Jammy Dodger.

I don't like any of your biscuits. In fact, I haven't heard of half of them!

What a Marie? And a fig roll? As for Rick Tea, I'm guessing you meant Rich Tea, and they're horrible. They fall off in my tea!

Well I don't - so I didn't and NO I won't -

because you only mentioned pants biscuits

you omitted the SAS biscuit -

THE dah dah dah HOB NOB - and

Rick Tea, 'scuse me whilst I put hardcore on my drive,
and
bourbon - pah pah pah pah -spit spit - it is like eating hardened poo!!

Your biscuit poll is as pants a Garaboldi - which is even worse than a hardened poo.

Awwww Cat - your poll was really good. Honestly it was!

And congrats on starting it!!!!!!! Your first ever poll.

But... you have come to realise the downside of starting a poll. There is alway, always, some git who moans that there aren't enough options and generally implies that your poll is crap.....

But, polls are good, and it is a brave person who starts one. You are among the most honourable of members Cat. Take heart in that.

And it was a good poll.

But there weren't enough options.

I voted custard cream, cos given a choice of the options listen, on a plate, I'd have picked the custard cream - blummin good poll though :bye:

There is alway, always, some git who moans that there aren't enough options and generally implies that your poll is crap..... .

Yes well hmmmmmm ..... this git is discerning when it comes to bikkies - and being faced with custard creams [see previous thread on my opinions of them] and fig rolls [just chuck 'em down the loo why eat them?] and then Nice [pluuurrrrreeaaaaase] and oh yeah yeah old git wishes to moan and moan ...

... actually if the truth were known I actually detest ALL biscuits ['cept digestives and cracker bikkies] - so really I am being a Victor Meldrew and moaning for the sake of it - so Cat, my love, my sweet shortbread of the homemade variety - please accept my apologies??

This is the Bestest Poll I have Ever Seen ever - and that although I am being absolutely genuine that last bit was just a tidgy bit of a lie.

I'll have you know that I wouldn't be where I am today without that "piece of wisdom"

And FYI - my polls are of the highest quality combining thrilling subject choice and possible personal debate.
Take my last one for example: "What's your favourite type of Pot Noodle?" Sheer genious.

Where on earth was that one then - I missed IT!!!:glare:

Not that I would have voted cos I hate them - but as a parent of a child who is obsessed by the thought and trendiness of them - I may have peeked at the most popular, maybe!!

Oh...****.
.... which incidentally reminds me of a very unsavoury game that horrid boys play with biscuits!!!!

As I type I am baking biscuits in the oven - chocolate fork biscuits - cos we are so poor that I can't afford any extras this month so I've had to resort to baking treats ...... (now where did I put those violins!).

Going from the list though Cat (excellent suggestions by the way) I'd go for plain old boring rich tea - which just about sums me up (well except the rich bit!!!).

Do you know Dol, even though I just wapped that poll up as a practise I think my true feelings are there. Only last night Mr Cat said I'm going to get some biscits from the shop...amidst the cries of Chocolate, jaffa, etc.....came mine of Custard Creams! And like you, I agree, you cannot beat a rich tea on a rainy afternoon with a good film. I think its part of growing older, like I prefer my cup of tea in a thin china mug now (not quite got to the saucer stage).

Maybe, subconsciously there was more to my poll than was meant! Sublimely it was about maturing and appreciating the plainer things in life.

Ah, I now understand why a celebrity biscuit google serach summoned him up.

And what of the future for Nick Bateman? He is now well established as an articulate and quick-witted television presenter. His recent gameshows Nasty Nick's baseless celebrity longevity improbability challenge and Who wants to stand near a biscuit? are ample testament to his audacious talents.
