It might not mean much to you now, but it's the secret password that lets us know whether you are worthy of becoming an SO addict or not.* As I write this, several would be members are languishing in 'The Dungeon'. I can't tell you much about it - hush hush wink wink - although rather strangely some of them are refusing to come out! And right now, I'd say it's true. But all popular forums experience a certain amount of in-fighting at some point and despite appearances now, this one has had its fair share in the past. It seems that the more successful a forum, the more likely it is to attract personality clashes and weirdo's! Ultimately, it's all about who the members are and how they interract together and often, all you need are one or two people who upset the apple cart and a perfectly peaceful forum turns into a war zone. Right now though, you're right. I have admittedly dreamt about some [no rudies - sadly :sad: ] - just bizarre ones - well really who would expect less. I reckon it is something to do with comeraderie, similarity, disparity with empathy and luancy. That is my formula for this place and boy do I LOVE IT? |
