So - if you've seen Flip's commerical please let us know what channel, what time and during which programme!

Even before I've seen it I fancy a lager ... must be Flip's subliminal postings!

Ooh I thought you were going to say you'd seen it, Dol, and I was going to say how could you, you weren't supposed to be watching TV:laugh:

Floops - Nah - they are most inconsiderate like that. All I know is that the commercial is the story of two young 'likely lads' rushing home to get the last can of lager out of the fridge. It is set in Newcastle and it is tittling down with rain [rain machines - cos it was actually quite sunny].

I had gone to school with one of the wardrobe girls - so knew that it was due to start in February. I think, from what I can gather, it is like one of those Bisto or Nescafe adverts - with a theme and a story.

Actually I have just been recruited for my first film. To be filmed in Newcastle, about Football [so can you excuse me whilst I roll over and snooze?] with Anna Friel - and that is all I really know.

Ooh, how exciting Flip!! We had a casting thingy for Greyfriars Bobby that is to be filmed in Edinburgh soon, I half considered going up to join the queue, then thought against it! Good Luck with film, you'll be at the Oscars one day! :)

Flippy, I was just wondering. If the ad is to be shown in February sometime and it was quite a big budget ad, maybe its going to be shown during the 6 nations cup (is that shown on itv or bbc)

It starts this Saturday, but it looks like Royal bank of Scotland is the official sponsor. But others do put big ads on at the time, just like I remember watching the superbowl in America and all the top ads would pay big money to be on tv cause they knew everyone was watching.
