Am I the only one who hates this silly mare?

I appreciate that she has an incredible voice but no I don't like her either Peej. :( She just doesn't sing the kinda of music I enjoy and when she does sing a song that I like her interpretation of it just doesn't get me excited.... :(

See, I don't even like her voice never mind her personality...

Sod her voice, she dosn't like Steve.....that alone should say it all.

I can't take to her either I'm afraid. Like Cat I can appreciate that she can sing although it isn't a voice I particularly like and I certainly wouldn't buy her records. I really disliked the comment she made last night in which she begged the viewers not to send her back to singing backing vocals for the 'Happy Monday's' - a job some would be only too delighted to take up!
I wouldn't be devastated if she won, but I don't like her.

I'm not overkeen on her voice either, and I'm always wanting her to sound more feminine and raise her voice an octave, she has an incredibly low voice. She would do well in the soul field though.

I know what you lot are saying, she does irritate me as well - BUT!!

I think she has been thwarted all her life, she has never 'quite made it' and I think she is so hopelessly insecure and a lot loopy.

There is no doubting in my mind that her voice is 'quality' - and in the same 'superstar' league as Bassey, Warwick and Streisand - but her 'love me, love me, cos I am a helpless, hopeless, nutter' does drive me to distraction.

I would be gutted to see her win - however, I just am in love with Tabby!! There I said it!

I adore Rowetta.She is one fantastic singer and is in a league of her own.I really want her to win this. :)

I do like Rowetta!! Yeah, she is mad, loopy and so utterly insecure but she does have something, she has definitely got a bit of the X-Factor.

I would buy her records, and would love it if she won!

I like Rowetta and at the moment I'd quite like to see her win it.

I'm another one who can appreciate that Rowetta has talent but I don't like her voice. I didn't much like her personality at first but she's grown on me and I think she and Simon have formed a nice and genuine bond.

She doesnt do anything for me im afraid. I thought she was trying to be the next Shirley Bassey, and she should try and be herself rather than someone else.

I find her voice a bit too low, and i find my mind wanders as she sings.

She does have a fabby voice, but it isnt my cup of tea.

Im also fasinated by her mouth when she talks. If she wins i hope they encourage her to get down to the dentist and have some work done.

I think Rowetta is the eventual winner and I love her voice, Simon was right when he said she is a great singer. The only one I can see coming close to her is Tabby but I dont think it will do his 'rock cred' any favours if he wins.

I don't know much about her personality but I think she has a fantastic voice. I like soul as a genre and she does it well.

She might be nuts, she might have had a hard life, she could be a total b!tch. None of that matters in a talent contest as far as I'm concerned.

I'd like to see her win myself.

I love Rowetta - I don't think she will win because I think people will go for Tabby or Steve but she has a wonderful voice (just given the wrong songs to sing which makes me livid).

I have written a great long spiel about the song I would choose for her on the thread "what should they sing". I think it would give her a much better chance because it would suit her so much.

Sorry to repeat myself but it is the old Iris Williams version of the theme from the Deerhunter called "He was Beautiful". It's old enough for not a lot of people to remember Iris Williams but the tune will probably be familiar to folks and I really want to hear her sing it. It's so "her".

I think she's probably had a very hard time of it in the past. At least, it seems that way. She's definitely... not... stable, to point out the bleedin' obvious.

Still, I think she has talent, just by virtue of the sheer emotion she can invest in a song. But I don't find watching her perform a comfortable experience, then again, I feel the same way about the whole bunch, barring maybe Steve who has a very easy, natural manner.

Steve or Rowetta, I think. =)

Rowetta just shouts a song, to me. She doesn't seem to have a volume control, and I don't like the sound of her voice at all. It REALLY does sound like Shirley Bassey singing.
She seems really highly strung, and is a drama queen, not keen on that sort of a person.

Completely agree Lyndsay - she is, as Simon put it himself, unmanagable - and quite honestly I bet he is sighing a huge sigh of relief that she didn't get through. Can you imagine having to manage an unpredictable, unstable and barmpot looper like Rowetta??

Mind you she does have a super voice.

Well the show's over for me - lost interest now Rowetta has gone :sad:
