in my younger days, for a birthday celebration i drank numerous bottles of beer, then had a walk, then champagne and mead cocktails then a walk, then more beer. All of course without any food in my stomach. I left the building, totally dark, knocked down a wall, walked through a field of nettles and then, to my total mortification, entered someone else's home believing it to be mine. the next day, visitors flocked to view me and my injuries because word had got around about my antics of the night before. it was very funny, painful and totally embarrassing and i didnt celebrate again for quite some time. it didnt help that i was living on an island and that story stayed with me for some time after.

LOL Bridge, I can assure you that I have yet to meet someone who does keep bursting into song and singing Hoots man, Donald where's your trousers, and to rephrase it is "Donald, whaur;s yir troosers?! "The wind blow high and the blow low, down the streets in ma kilt I go..........."

Hope you have a fab time in Scotland - where about are you coming to?

Andrea, sorry I meant to return to this - the West Coast is lovely. I used to spent a lot of my holidays as a child in Argyllshire in a little marina village called Tayviallich, it is close to Oban and Lochgilphead. And you can take the ferry across to Mull to see BALAMORY!! :w00t:

The East Coast is lovely too, especially a little unknown City called Edinburgh, lots to do, lots to see and you would get a very friendly welcome! ;)
