America...fantastic! :applause:

Bon Bon...soz we posted at the same time: I would have Michael Palin, Russell Crowe and Richard Branson!

Excluding England (if you did want them to win in the first place) who do you want to win the World Cup?

Patsy
13-06-2006, 11:08 AM
Have you ever won a fabulouis prize when the ticket only costs a few pence?

Kind of. I won a holiday to New York on the Big Breakfast 7 years ago, for the price of a phone call.

And yes, Bons. It rained most of the night and part of this morning, but it's brightened up now, although it is due to rain again later on, apparently. :nerd:

Shall I change my hairstyle?

ummm i looked young and had a nice body so YEAH. (better than i look now any way)

If you could get married again would you have a big white wedding, or marry in Gretna Green, or go abroad in the sun?

Bonsai
14-06-2006, 08:57 AM
I dont think i would get married again. If anything happened to cause a split between me and Mr.B I think i would rather live in sin than walk down an isle.

Having said that though - i would love to renew our wedding vows, but Mr.B wont play ball. The thing is, when i married at 18 i didnt have many friends. I had left my school mates behind and they had gone to college, and i had just started work for a small company full of older people. My wedding consisted of mum and dad mates and a few other people in their 50s. If i did it again i would be able to have a MASSIVE party and invite everyone.

Do you think i waffled a bit there ?

Coastie
14-06-2006, 09:28 AM
No...I think you were very clear and precise!

When you say invite everyone...will I need to buy a new hat?

Bonsai
14-06-2006, 10:19 AM
In all seriousness, if i did have a massive doo - you would all get invited. BUT i have to talk Mr.B around first :bored:

Do you believe that people who marry 2nd time around should wear white ?

Coastie
14-06-2006, 11:57 AM
Married twice? I thought the phrase was '..til death do us part!'

How many times did you get a detention at school?

Aondeag
14-06-2006, 12:04 PM
I got 'group detention' a few times...maybe 4 or five times, but never a detention all to myself. And we always managed to talk our way out of it.
(which is gas as we usually got it for talking in the first place)

Did you have a good relationship with your teachers?

Bonsai
14-06-2006, 12:11 PM
None - cos im a good girl i am

When was the last time you had a good moan about something ... and what was it about ?

Coastie

Is your boss good looking?

Bonsai

No, my boss isnt good looking - unfortunately :bored:

Given half the chance, would you shag a colleague ?

Coastie
14-06-2006, 12:18 PM
Erm...no...mainly because the only two I would consider shagging are both taken...one married with kids and one with a really nice girlfriend..I would never go there!

Pie or pasty?

Bonsai
14-06-2006, 12:49 PM
Pie - although i like both. We are having steak pie for tea tonight

msgirl

Aon, you're just lucky I guess...:whistling:

Back to shagging...would you, could you, shag someone if you could and not have to worry about any aftermath or would you be too guilt ridden and want to stalk the person or confess to your significant other???? (LONG QUESTION:ninja: )

Bonsai
15-06-2006, 08:28 AM
OK, long question, long answer. Im not sure to be honest. I think if i could shag someone - have incredible sex with a gorgeous bloke, and noone would find out - and if my mind was wiped after the event .... yeah i probably would.

I do something totally outrageous everyday. Ask my colleagues, as they never know what shall pass my lips in conversation or joke, I may have my children dancing to 'Born to Be Wild' (Inxs cover) and me dancing the most frenectically, falling out of my outside chair, spraying bugspray into my face as opposed to the child I had intended to spray (West Nile Virus over here ya know!!). Outrageous is just another day for me...

I would go nuts if my kids swore, it's a no no in our house, it always makes me laugh because my sister in law's husband swears like a trooper and his 3 year old has started saying the word f-uck so he puts mexican chilly sauce in her mouth!!!!!! i mean it's his fault she swears, poor kid she's only copying him. What an idiot he is.

Is swearing the norm in your house?

Seabreeze
22-06-2006, 06:26 PM
No swearing in the Breeze household.

Do you swear much when on a girls/ lads night out?

msgirl
23-06-2006, 03:38 AM
Like a dock worker!!! I do swear in the house and about, but I pick my words for the sitch, and I have rules for the 8 yr. old that even though I am a potty mouth, he should strive for better...awful isn't it. I don't allow 'stupid', 'idiot', 'shut-up', 'freakin'. or 'sucks', and he tries...oh but he tries. My bessie mate Daph and I...we'd make Hell's Angels blush when we are cuttin' up. Generaly, I have to remain quite 'swear-free' at school and sech...

How are you about swearing??

And they are all grown up in their 20's and 30's.She's gas! Fek is allowed tho', as that's not a curse. Cursing doesn't really bother me,unless it's in front of really young kids or if it's directed AT someone. It's not pleasant to hear someone F'ing and blinding in anger at someone. That's just rude.

What about you?

Bonsai

England winning on Saturday (you can tell im making this up cant you !!!).

Do you think England or Portugal will win on Saturday ?

Coastie
30-06-2006, 09:30 AM
England certainly have the potential to beat Portugal but I as ever am fearful they will not fulfill it so I'm afraid I am going to have to say Portugal...even if their side is slightly reduced due to the yellow and red cards from their last match...but then I also hope that that will cause those on a yellow to hold back a bit and this could let our boys through to victory...oh poo...I am going to be the optimist for a change and not the realist and say ENGLAND to win!

Does that answer your question?

Bonsai
30-06-2006, 09:36 AM
It does ... and quite brilliantly too :good:

Do you own an England Shirt that you wear whilst watching the matches ?

Coastie

Beer - and a large bowl of Kettle Chips.

How many pints do you think you could drink before you fell over ?

Coastie
30-06-2006, 09:47 AM
I tend to stop at six and feel fine...any more and I know I will throw up...I have know idea what it's like to wobble through the effects of alcohol, I have slurred and had one memory lapse... so I shall say ten pints may do it!

Have I lived?

Bonsai
30-06-2006, 09:49 AM
Well, i hope so or im talking to a ghost right now :shocking:

Do you believe in ghosts and have you seen one ? If yes, tell us about it.

Coastie
30-06-2006, 09:57 AM
Yes...and yes...I had a spooky experience in our other building...an old coach house at the back of the main office building (itself a converted house). I was sleeping in the back room on my break and at around midnight there was the sound of running feet and I saw a flash of white pass the door (we have a small window in it)...the feet continued their run down the stairs and then there was a bang. I thought my colleague in the front room had been called back to the main office but when I asked him later he said he hadn't...so I queried the others in the team and they told me the story of two nurses...apparently two nurses had been in the building during the war and there was a bombing raid...they were fleaing the building but as they got to the door they were killed! :shocking:

I have never slept in that building since...and because I often hear whispering when I'm over they I don't use it for my meal breaks either!

Am I being a wuss?

Bonsai
30-06-2006, 09:59 AM
Nope. I wouldnt sleep there again either :shocking: I would of poo'd my pants.

btw the 'has anyone died' comment is a little over the top as is 'you must post proof' one :glare:

When you're having a serious discussion with someone, do you never ever veer off that topic or make some little joke in the middle of it?

IN reply to you both; I have never met her so don't know how sensible she is and he is reasonably sensible (as good as it gets at 13 anyway) and if he even thinks of going down the route of 'having' I shall remove his testicles without pain killers!!

Favourite pudding?

Patsy
08-08-2006, 12:57 PM
My new favourite is a variation on Eton Pudding, which my friend made on Saturday and she called Eton Mess. It was fresh cream (which I usually don't like, but it was heavily disguised), with broken up meringue, raspberries and blackberries, all mushed up and delicious. I'm not usually a puddingy person, but I had two bowls of that.
