Coastie
25-05-2007, 08:02 PM
:nerd: The day is dragging as the elephant paid to drag the world round in a circle is upset about his latest pay rise...he feels an extra quarter of a ton of peanuts isn't enough to keep up with the inflation of his belly and thinks that the management should recognise his importance with a tonne of peanuts. In protest of this huge injustice the elephant has slowed considerably and so we are all suffering from long, dragging day syndrom. :smartie:

When I changed banks I was told by my old bank I would simply need to let my employer know my new bank account details with regards my wages and that there were no forms for me to sign to ensure any money going into my account would be forwarded on to my new one...they lied...

Then...

I asked my boss for the form I would need to sign out to inform the pay office of my new bank account and he gave me said form. Unfortunately that form only applied to travel and subsistance paymenst not wages and I found out too late that I had to simply write a letter to inform the pay office of my new bank details.

Needless to say my wages bounced back to head office and I was without funds for ten days while they sorted the mess out...In went back to my old bank and complained and they said that I should have filled in a form with my new bank details as then they would have forwarded my wages direct to my new account! :evilmad: :ranting:

Have you ever changed bank?

OT...but I just got a Peace Lily and gorgeous Bromliad (it's got a flame looking 'flower'...red and yellow) for my office.
