Would you blame a mistake you had made on someone else if you knew that no-one could find out it was you?

I wouldnt blame it on anyone else but I might not admit to it if that seemed a better option. I am thinking of a specific example when taking full responsibility for an accident - I would have done it but the staff stopped me and there were no repercussions for anyone else.

Same question.

karenh

Yes I would, but only if I knew that the person I was blaming would not suffer in any way for it.

I don't think there is a specific age - Emma got hers when she went out to friends on her own - about 10 I think - she didn't want to be ferried but I needed to be able to contact her to make sure she was safe - about every 5 minutes at first. I still feel a bit jittery now when she's out but she's growing up so I have to content myself with nagging worried feelings & biting my nails!
