Let's say you had an admirer. Even though you may be happily in a relationship, if they had ten minutes to try and impress you, what would they have to do to make you think twice about them?

For my point of view, he would have to be confident, intelligent and witty - so he'd have to say something in those ten minutes that was apropos to the situation we were in that was well observed and funny! But he'd also have to demonstrate that he'd got a superior intellect and perception to have noticed whatever it was in the first place.

There would also have to be good eye contact and he'd have to be clean and well presented.

Offering to buy me dinner would help too! :laugh:

I was chatting to a bloke the other day he had all the above points, but what let him down at the end was that he said he owned a shop (still good, I do like 'em with money and aspirations) but then it turned out to be a collectable teddybears and dolls accesories shop ..... which was a big big turn off for me!

He would have to make me laugh, be confident and not cocky, be reasonable to look at, tall, not to skinny or plump, have no facial hair and be clean (nails, hair,teeth etc).

I like to see a keen brain behind the eyes, an interest in the psychological/philosophical, an infectious laugh and an easy intelligient wit and good at banter - fart gags will not impress. Looks wise, he'd need to be taller than me (not hard that one!) clean and smart casual in style.

Like the rest of you, it would have to be someone confident, but not cocky, shares my same sense of humour and makes me laugh, I like dark hair and blue eyes and i have a bit of a thing for hands and forearms.......

Now this is interesting because I have two different options which are thus:

The serious keel me over type: -
In a senior position to me. I would have to feel in awe and slightly empowered. He would be more intelligent than me and more wordly wise. I have no specific look....just clean and nicely (within the realms of modern day fashion without being to exteme) dressed. But most of all he would have to make me laugh. Immediate put offs would be bad teeth and skin, obesity, too thinity, facial peircings and shortness.

It's probably more true than you think... As I said, my husband didn't appear to even notice I was in the room the first time I saw him. I had to go up to somebody he was speaking to that I knew and make conversation with them to get a better look at him. He didn't blink an eyelid, I didn't see him even looking in my direction! All along he says he fancied me.
