View Full Version : Katie Price and Eurovision
Voice of reason 16-02-2005, 08:56 AM Well I have just heard Katie's (aka Jordan) song for Eurovision on radio 1. Apparently the choosing of the UK entry will be televised on Saturday night, and Ms Price is competing to represent us. The song is nothing special but it is quite catchy and her voice isn't bad, although it's obviously been through production. It'll be interesting to see what it sounds like live.
Anyone else hear it?

I haven't heard it Voice but I knew she was one of the contenders
Andrea 16-02-2005, 01:34 PM No, I haven't heard it either, but I heard she was one of the contenders along with all the other pop idol rejects in there.
Andrea 16-02-2005, 01:42 PM The other contenders are -
Gina G - sang "ooh ahh just a little bit" a few years ago for the eurovision.
Andy Scott Lee - was on pop idol but didn't make it, is the brother of Lisa Scott Lee (former Steps)
Javine - missed out of a place in Girls Aloud and has recently been dropped by her record company.
Tricolor - an Il Divo/G4 style trio.
Watch ole 'telboy on Saturday to give your vote:phone1:
I would have to go for Andy Scott Lee as he is fit :naughty:
kimmy 16-02-2005, 03:50 PM Andy Scott Lee gets my vote :)

Oh yes, that's them Andrea. I'm always really surprised that anyone wants to do Euriovision because it usually sounds the death knell to any musical career whether you win or not! There's only really ABBA that made anything of it, Katrina (and the waves) was ok too, but where is she now? I certainly wouldn't be attempting to launch a career via this contest (but then no one's asked me to either!)
tonee 16-02-2005, 05:03 PM I loathe the eurovision but I wish her well.

You have the gift of prophecy I see!
claire 05-03-2005, 07:46 PM I hope Jordan does well.. I like her...
I'm glad Jordan didn't make it :D
I don't think we will do very well though
Lugger Buggs 05-03-2005, 09:17 PM Well I bet I know what people will be voting for, and it isn't Jordans singing voice
Ooh, ils - did Jordan not get through then (as you can tell, I'm WELL up to date)
Dolores 05-03-2005, 09:20 PM errr..... could a moderator please move this out of Music and put it under "'aving a laugh"!!!!
Jordan big tits small brain is a complete media whore. She has a very limited intelligence and what she does has is limited to herself. having said that she likes horses so she can't be all bad!
Her "dancing" is truly awful - who told her she could sing or dance, when it is painfully obvious she can do neither!
Ooh, ils - did Jordan not get through then (as you can tell, I'm WELL up to date)
She came 2nd :D
Lugger Buggs 05-03-2005, 09:21 PM She came 2nd :D
In a way, I'm glad.
She would have just been an embarrasment to the UK.
She would have just been an embarrasment to the UK.
I agree :D Mind you we are used to that when it comes to Eurovision...
floopy 05-03-2005, 09:46 PM jeez I missed it
So who did win in the end?
Javine .....................
Critique 05-03-2005, 10:35 PM Well I now know that when I saw Katy Price sing her song on Des and Mel she must have been miming because it sounded good.
Tonight her notes were flat, unlike her boobs and stomach - lol. And that pink cat suit looked like a condom.
I wasn't that keen on any of them - quite liked the G4/Il Divo clones but don't think it would have won - but then you can never tell. I remember (rocks chair too and fro) when a girl who just played a violin and sang about 2 lines went on to win! It was called "Nocturn" by Secret Garden. How can an instrumental win a song contest? But that's what I like about the Eurovision S C - you just never know :)
Good Luck to Javine but I also think it will be Nil Point
claire 05-03-2005, 11:14 PM Perhaps she should stick to what she is good at.. I like her, but I must admit the breasts look odd with the bigger stomach. Somehow I don't think the whole fake breast look suits pregnancy. Pregnancy is a very naturally beautiful thing. (Anybody understand what Im trying to say)
Perhaps she should stick to what she is good at..
And what might that be?
Lugger Buggs 05-03-2005, 11:44 PM And what might that be?
Getting her tits out.
:shocking: Am I allowed to say that word?
Getting her tits out
That is hardly a skill though, is it?
:shocking: Am I allowed to say that word?
Looks like you can LB....
Critique 06-03-2005, 12:44 AM I know it's off topic but can't think where to put this question. Do fake breasts work? I mean for feeding of course. And what happens when you are in advanced pregnancy and they swell up? Will she be able to stand unaided?
claire 06-03-2005, 08:14 AM And what might that be?
Yes getting her tits out as LB so nicely put it, that is certainly what she is good at. I do think it is a skill, how many of us could do it?
I have bought and read her autobiography and couldn't help but have a sort of respect for her afterward. I don't even think porn is right but she is a very ambitious lady. She has worked hard to get where she is and I don't think it matters if she is not the most intellegent person on earth. How many of us chose how much intellegence we would be born with? None, you make the most with what you've been given. I think there are a lot of people far less intellegent than her. Does it matter anyway, we don't criticise those who have been born with brain damage or learning difficulties so why look down on those who we think may not be quite as intellegent as ourselves?
I don't love the girl - and occasionally cringe for her when I hear things she has said or see unsightly pics, but I respect her to a certain degree.
Coastie 06-03-2005, 08:44 AM Will someone kindly take Kaie Price aka Jordan outside and point out to her that:
SHE CAN'T SING!
Eurovision was the secoond time I have had to block my ears from the torture of her voice screamin off the screen.....the first was the West Life thingy....she is seriously tone deaf......please stop her!
claire 06-03-2005, 09:44 AM I can't wait to hear the song, there have been such mixed reviews!!
kookycat 06-03-2005, 09:54 AM its bluddy awful. i remember seeing a documentary on her and part of it was of her in the recording studio and it was torture. like metal against metal.

We (women) all could do it, but we chose not to. So I can't see it as a skill....

Andy Scott Lees song was written by Lee Ryan *swoons*

Is this a hidden talent you have yet to share Claire...in which case....Tuesday night is guys night in te SOMBA rooms...have a chat with Cat and she'll book you in!
Bella 07-03-2005, 12:51 PM We (women) all could do it, but we chose not to. So I can't see it as a skill....
Well with my tits being the size they are, I certainly couldn't!! Personally I would be gutted if either of my daughters ended up flashing their boobs around in the way Jordan does. Although she is not alone, there are plenty of girls who are making a living doing what Jordan does, and it is obviously very lucrative and more to the pointed....wanted and needed! A nice-sized cleavage is nice but when you are practically falling out of your clothing then you really need to have a word!! Saying that Jordan....or Katie does not always go around flashing her boobs, she doesn't walk down the street taking Harvey to the swing park with them on full display - she does cover up. My opinion about her changed whilst watching IACGMOH. She didn't come across how I thought she would, I expected her to be a right prima donna. I liked the fact that she was pracical about her hair, didn't wear her make-up and personally I think she looks better without it. I don't like the bleached blonde style it cheapens her. I don't know but I do kind of admire but as I said if I had not seen her on IACGMOH, my opinion towards her would be have been different.

My breasts are certainly not big enough to do tricks with!!

Ahhhh contra - rotating tassels! Brings back memories.

Well nor would Jordans be without implants!
Now there's a thought....implants which include built in tassel spinners.....actually no...after all where would you put the batteries.....
up ya bum!
