Hands up anyone who had a jigsaw when they were a kid, where each state of America or country in Europe was a single piece, and all you had to do was place them into the correct place in Europe/America's outline?

I bet I'm the only one who even remembers them. :)

Oh well, here is another challenge for all you geography fans out there. I don't know why I keep posting geography games as I'm rubbish at them, but they're good fun.

In this one you have to place the states into the outline of America and you're timed and judged on your average deviation from the correct location. It helps if you are good at jigsaws. I got 78% and was an average of 122 miles out

Place the state (http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/states_experiment_drag-drop_Intermed_State15s_500.html)

Rather stick to our own shores? No problem place the county in County Up (http://www.mousebreaker.net/games/countycountup/play.php) Sorry to our friends north of the border, but there isn't any Scottish counties.

Don't know your Clwyd from your Dyfeds, as I didn't then try and place the town. You're timed on this one.
UK City Clicker (http://www.mousebreaker.net/games/cityclicker/play.php)

Good luck

Reportedly one of my company directors was complaining he didn't know anything about American geography, so our US colleagues bought him one of those US State jigsaws :)

88% and 36 miles for me.

Mik, is that one where you fit the states into the map rather than an ordinary jigsaw? If so I know someone who'd like one - where did you get it?

I scored 91095 on the City Clicker and scored hot for Cheltenham and Southampton and very hot for Brighton.

Nox I think it was one piece per state, but I've no idea where it came from I'm afraid (other than that it was brought from America).
