Woodstock 25-02-2005, 12:24 AM I love watching the news - not because the actual news is interesting (97% of the time it's downright depressing and obsessed with royalty - not forgetting the daily "some poor once-famous but now unknown to anyone under the age of 55 celebrity has snuffed it slot......and he/she was a wonderful person blah blah...." prior to the handing over to the weather.......
....but because of the variety of news correspondents, and their methodical, almost robotic manner and speech when they finally hand over to the anchor man/woman back in the studio.
So first of all - humour me, and secondly make up a silly name for your own news correspondent, then say BBC or Sky News, followed by a silly place name.
I'll set the ball rolling (and i don't want to come back to this thread same time next week having had only one post - the introductory post, which is mine....)
So, look beyond the ludicrosity of it all, and participate...
