A crewman for the new series has been bitten by a deadly Funnel Web spider. He had been clearing the Austrailian jungle in preparation for the new I'm A Celebrity show due to start on 21st November.

The assistant producer was rushed to the local hospital for treatment and a jab of antidote.

Ooh I hope he is okay. I hate spiders with a vengeance. What makes me laugh about this though is the fact they have a crew "clearing" the jungle to make way for the set.

As soon as this is done and the bunks are put in place etc, all the jungle nasties will simply come back! :blink:
