Ooooooh I'm loving this now :)

Blimey those girls are not team players are they? And wardrobe crimes apart (which are not insignificant) Adele and Miranda, between them were totally responsible for 'First Forte's' failure (try saying that when you've had a few!) Didn't matter which one went really as they were both hopelss in different ways, but I dislike Adele more and can't see her lasting the distance.

Saira in the other team came across as very patronising, you could tell who she was speaking to on the phone just by her tone of voice and the language she used, i.e. "Hello my darling I wonder if you could help me out?" to the jellied eels salesperson, I'm quite sure she wouldn't have spoken to the diamond merchant like that! She was similarly patronising to the matress woman and loud and keen to 'big herself up' with Sir Allen over the digibox coup (I think they were given it just to get rid of her to be honest!)

Am loving the black guy (he's also gorgeous  ) James, Sebastian and Ben. The guy chosen as team leader of the other side was a bit bland and clearly loathes being in charge, makes you wonder what he'd do if he won really!

Watched this for the first time properly this evening, having only seen bits before, and enjoyed it.

I couldn't agree more with your analysis VOR. What a disaster the girls turned out to be. They were far too busy trying to make themselves appear important to think about the team as a whole. I can't stand Adele (is that the one with the pink hair?). She's the sort of person I can't imagine having any time for in real life. When she started allocating positions for her 'team', I thought what the... They're going out to barter for items, trawling markets for cheap 'n' cheeful single mattresses and purchasing jellied eels in Asda. For goodness sake what was the PA meant to do, write up the minutes?

yes this is the first time I've watched this all the way through, just seen bits before like Nox. And now I'm hooked! So thanks for that Haydon! I needed a break from reality tv!

I thought some of the guys were pretentious overblown ****s who in real life I would go out of my way to avoid. Although I did like the black guy and the white guy who was up for the vote, Ben I think. Some of the other little snots were unbearable!

But as for the girls! (can't call them women, cos they act like girlies!) all that screeching between Miranda and Adele (the only two who's names I can definitely remember, and not for good reasons!) was awful and brought shame on my fair sex! Although Miranda didn't rise the the occasion I think Adele made her PA/Secretary as a kind of power thing, to put Miranda in her place. I've been a PA in the past and no way would I have worked for a manager like Adele - I'd have been off in the first hour!

Fashion crimes, indeed Voice, but not just the ladies with their "Power Dressing" which in itself is laughable and those shoes some of them wear are just ridiculous! But the boys and those "sharp" 1980's pin strip suits and doesn't one or more actually wear braces!!!!!! lmfao! These people need to sort them selves out.

Does Alan (now isn't he just divine! ) HAVE to chose one of them? Cos I'm not sure for a high powered six figure salary that any of them are that outstanding. But I suppose there are about 11 more episodes so who knows Imight be surprised. I would definitely be surprised if it was any of the women at this stage. My top contender so far is Ben.

That Adele is a total bitch and I can’t believe she was spared yet again yesterday. That sulky over made up face and the dreadful hair-do I just want to punch her! I felt a bit sorry for Miranda with her pretty caked in make up face – what is it with these woman and the slap? She really put her down making her “her PA/”assistant” although in fairness Miranda seems a bit of a talking head always saying how she can sell, deliver etc and then not really doing anything much at all . Thought it was hilarious the way the two were arguing in the Asda check out q. If the patronising and annoying Salma interrupts just one ,ore person with “can I just stop you there” I swear I will scream! - Its great telly! Paul or Ben to win!

Matthew (the one I dont like) who was made Team Leader last night, HOW I laughed at this, when he was chuntering on about "not wanting to take a leadership role too soon", as if he was the bee all and end all of being a team leader, "but I guess I will have to do it, someone has to" as he rolls his eyes and puts on the martyr face...........then the muppet left his team to do all the organising and running around so that he passed the task, he's gonna have the wind well and truly taken out of his sails.........soon I hope

I cant take to Adele either, and was it me, but I am SURE she sat in the board room with Sir A and denied point blank that she had told Miranda that if they lost the task then Miranda and her other deputy chap would be up for the boot with her.......I thought that was exactly what Adele had said, and I think that Miss Adele was out for getting rid of Miranda from the start, get rid of the competition!!!!

Saira is still a bit full of herself, but out of the girls, I think she is the one in with a chance of winning, shes a bit of a gobsh*te, but she gets results!!

Tim (yep Voicey I agree, and hes one cool dude isnt he ) will be in the last few I think too!

NOW for the fashion crimes..........

OMFG what did Adele have on in the board room, that awful brown dress thing?!?!??!?!?!??! Out of the girls, Saira is the one that actually looks the part!!!

As for the lads, I think they all look lovely when suited and booted (except Matthew), they look far more the part than the girls!!

True, but I was ROFL at Tim's attempts to haggle the price of a bottle of champagne down 5p! :D

I said this to hubby last night, surely there must be some people out there who can negotioate and work as a team better than this lot.

And Mikado, totally agree with the bubbly haggling, what a difference 5pence makes

I actually think that Sugar has a soft spot for Adele, the way he was talking to her in the board room. I wouldn't be suprised if she goes quite far in the program.

I did think that also actually as she seems to have avoided two consecutive weeks being up for being fired, it but then I thoughtly surely someone as businesslike and professional as Alan Sugar wouldnt be thinking with his d**k would he?????????

ditto to this!!!!

I thought that Adele was good at giving the "talk" so to speak, but she came across to me that she was all mouth, couldnt organise a pee up in a brewery imho........

what irritated me, was that she battered Miranda verbally in the board room, but when Miranda tried to put her point across in a professional manner, Sir A accused them of "bickering" and seemed to take Adeles "side", I think that Miranda has more professionalism in her little finger than Adele has in her whole BADLY dressed body!!!!

Adele reminds me of someone I once knew (in her mannierisms and ways), who slept her way from data entry clerk to PA to the President of UK Operations for a MAJOR multi-national PLC in less than a year - she can talk the talk but hasnt got a single qualification, she created a perfect CV and basically BLAGGED and slept her way to the top........its not something that i would feel particularly proud of myself, and I dont think it would sit well on my concience - I only got the job because of who I had shagged....nah!

I actually think Adele was rather clever last night. She knew at the start of the task that if they failed she, as project manager, would be on the line. She therefore set Miranda up for a fall by making her a PA. She knew Miranda would rebel against this, and therefore she could recommend Miranda was sacked for disloyalty. Miranda fell straight into the trap, stupidly, since in the first programme she narrowly escaped being sacked for not supporting Saira as project manager.

Yeh, I was surprised Miranda didn't cop onto what Adele was doing and play the Over supportive P.A. role to compensate. 'Oh yes Adele, that's a brilliant idea Adele - Gosh what a beautiful brown sack - sorry dress - Adele'....

Even if Adele sussed her as being false and sycophantic, with Alan's representatives there as witnessess she couldn't have used the non-supportive disloyal card against Miranda in the boardroom.

I thought she would have gone further, but she basically fired herself.

Have been watching this from the start and am absolutely hooked on it. :tv_happy: Can't believe how power hungry the girls who are made project manager get. Lyndsay last week was an absolute power mad crazy women and Adele wasn't too far off this last night. I do agree with the view that she may be using her feminine wiles to keep in the programme but to be honest I don't think that this will help her in the long run. Think Sir Alan might be slightly more astute than to fall for this for two wrong.

I think it will be one of the lads that win as the girls seem to be letting the power go to their head and letting the side down. Come on Girls stop the bitching and get on with proving that we are the stronger sex.

I know I'm a girlie - but what feminine wiles has Adele got exactly?! Come on boys, do you see them? or do you see a pushy, badly made up woman with an aggressive nature and not an ounce of business savvy like I do?!

I'm not seeing it either Dol, she's a sulky faced mare. Making Miranda her 'PA' was deffo' a power trip and as far as I could see Adele did nothing but walk about in a bad suit holding files and insisting they all stayed together like an over-anxious parent (why???)

Still, as other's have said I can see that Miranda played right into her hands by rebelling. I wonder if Sir Allen didn't want to be seen to sack the project leader again as it might take some of the suspense out of the thing if it was always the project leader that took the blame (dunno though, I'm guessing)

Yes, I agree this was was giggle-inducing but hey, it actually made him seen human and vulnerable and therefore more appealing than the other megalomaniac dorks!

I mean, would you want any of them as a friend? :shocking:

"Friends" of that lot must have very painful backs.......

I too am loving this show!!!

You guys could be right about Adele having an ulterior motive in making Miraanda her PA.....but is she clever enough for that ....after seeing her in that brown bag as TE described I'm not sure....!!!

I was ashamed for the two girls in the boardroom - they were like two spoiled irrational schoolgirls and so inarticulate for two of the supposed best female business minds in britain...

Adele is a lucky girl though -Miranda should have stayed...can you imagine actually working with adele a loud shrewish cow who rides on the success of others...She'd better go soon!!!

I never thought I would say but if i had to pick a fave out of the girls it is samira - she is loud and annoying but she works hard...

i still like tanned geezer sales boy from the boys and tim too
