Good deed for the day? Why not share your kindness with everyone!
My good deed for the day (it was actually last week) was that my sister kept going on and on and on about this book she used to read when she was a little girl that she loved. So, I searched for it on the net and ordered it for her. Gave it to her today and she was thrilled to bits.
I am now officially the best brother in the world :bye:

Not a very kind bunch, are we ? :ninja:
Akshooly, I did a good fing today. A technophobe was having problems filling in a spreadsheet, so I helped him and even finished it off for him, and I dont even like the man.
See, gold star and place in heaven assured.
What defines a 'good deed'.
I spent an afternoon tolerating a lovely young child of 3, messing about in my office today. I know for a fact she goes home to a house that is full of drug abusers - including her parent/s/odd bods who happen to be around. I usually don't allow the children in my office, but this one I do.
Why...
Good deed.

This inspired me Peej to look for a book that I used to read as a little girl and actually still have. It's called Treasury of Poetry by Hilda Boswell. It is a superbly illustrated book. I have the second edition and desperately would like the first edition. I checked it out via the web after I read your post and found that both editions are available (used) but prices are £107.00 upwards. I have several of her other books as well. I guess I'll have to treasure them. I still want that first edition though. The cover is so much prettier than the second edition and my friend had one and I used to spend hours just staring at the cover.

Today in Starbucks I picked up and returned a small child's crayon, as her scummy mother was too busy chatting to Wayne/Darren/Dwayne on her cheap Nokia to notice.
Erm, have I just cancelled out my good deed?
I've never had a starbucks.
I have no good deed to report, but the day is still young.
I gave a friend a lift home save them waiting for a train even though I feel like ****e !!!
I am really too nice :(
I gave my son a lift to work - then gave his girlfriend a lift home
