What makes something or someone Good or Evil

As already been mentioned, it depends on what is thought by each individual, take for instance the Catholic Nuns who run the homes for "misled" young women. They would themselves think that what they were doing was good, handing out beatings and physical abuse in the name of the Lord to rid these girls of sin, but if you were on the receiving end of the abuse then it is most certainly evil.

Also, they used their clothing as a means of misleading people into a false sense of security. We imagine nuns to be like the ones in Sound of Music, all peaceful and serene, but many of those girls who were behind the walls of such homes will tell a very different story.

How many times has someone abused their authority of a "good" position to inflict evil on others? Harold Shipman for example - a doctor, many would have trusted him and believed that what he was doing was good but in fact it was the exact opposite - Evil.

The difference between good and evil is dependent on the individuals perseption. However as individuals we have elected to live within a society which is ruled by forming a cohesion between those individuals. Therefore each individual society determines by the common morals of that group who is good and who is evil - thats how we ended up in Iraq???????????????

Who is more evil?

A = those how go to church every day and worship God

B = those who go and worship God once a week on Sunday

C = those who gave at the office



A = those that would give up there lives for there God

B = those that would give up there cash for there God

C = those that would not give up there seat for there God



A = those that would take up arms in defence against those that oppose there God

B = those that would take a collation make the Tea and run a white elephant sale for there God

C =those that would take up the remote and turn over to another channel as soon as songs of praise comes on
