If so, I wonder if you might be able to help with a problem I have.

I've managed to lock the entire audio system in my car. I can't play CD's or the radio and I HATE driving without music. I need to have a specific password to unlock the audio system, but I don't know what it is.

I've looked through the manual which is no help, and I've called the Peugot helpdesk who were useless. Apparently, they have a central database which stores the audio passwords for all Peugots that are 3 years old or less. Mine is 3.5 years old

I don't want to spend a fortune replacing the aduio suite in the car, but I can't bear driving in silence.

Help!

Thanks Fee.

The first site looks very good. I haven't seen anything on there that answers my specific question, but there is a good forum and I am going to post my question there. Just waiting for my registration to be approved......

Thanks for the links and I'll keep you posted.

Cheers

THis may not be Peugeot-specific - my Ford had a radio code which I have to put in if the battery is ever disconected then reconnected, I think this is fairly typical for most makes. You can try a local Peugot dealer if youve lost the code. I don't see why they can't override it and reset it for you.

I used to have a Peugeot - you are supplied with the radio code when you get the car so that it's thief-proof. I am not aware of how you can re-programme the radio, in fact I'm not sure that you can...unless you can find the code I don't know that you can sort this out yourself. I think a trip to the dealer is required sadly and maybe a new radio!
