Cheekychops 06-04-2005, 09:22 PM It's snowing here :) , unfortunately the ground very wet and don't think it will lie  but it's coming down fast.
Anywhere else where there is snow? Or is it just in this wee corner in Scotland?
No snow here, but then again we never have snow

 What wee corner would that be then?
I did hear earlier on the radio that snow was forecast in 'various parts of the country'
Cheekychops 06-04-2005, 09:31 PM Aaaww  ILS you should come live up here in Scotland you're lucky up here if you get two months in a row without snow
Of course you may not be keen on snow in that case I'd stay where I was cos it's also always ruddy cold
Cheekychops 06-04-2005, 09:32 PM Fee for all it's the wee Corner called East Kilbride, just outside Glasgow and near to Hamilton. You know it?

I'm from the wild west originally - Argyll. We never got snow due to the gulf stream and we had palm trees in our garden.
Never been to E.K. but was at Uni in Glasgow, so know it by reputation:laugh:
Cheekychops 06-04-2005, 09:42 PM Dolores, last night we had a right wet and windy night but this morning was bright and sunny, then we had hail, rain and sun, then hail and warm sunshine then when I looked out my window after the apprentice it was snowing  by tomorrow mornig it could be 100 degrees out there (I wish) with the way the weather's behaving.

Well some years we get a reprieve of maybe every three months but this is usually followed by a bumper snowfall for a couple of weeks and the snowing in of us

Well since I moved here the reputation of East Kilbride has improved to excellent :)
(But that might me due to the fact that everyone else has moved out )

I know East Kilbride, the company I worked for had offices there and I worked there for one day. Hamilton has got to be one of the most depressing places on this earth!! Mr B worked there for a couple of years and hated it!!
We didn't get snow but when I look out of my window I notice that The Pentland Hills do have a wee bit of white covering on their peaks!
Fee for All - Argyll, what a lovely place that is, they have some of the best beaches. We used to holiday in a wee place called Tayviallich, it was just gorgeous!
Coastie 09-04-2005, 07:47 AM It's close to 30 degrees here!
You are going to have a shock when you arrive home
