This article was posted on James site - it is from The Times online. I wonder if there will be any surprises in the final!
The remaining contestants in the BBC’s The Apprentice have been awarded mock business roles across Sir Alan Sugar’s £770m technology empire.
The business hopefuls are battling it out to win a promised £100,000 salary to work alongside Sir Alan, though four of the candidates have already penetrated the Amstrad perimeter.
According to the Sunday Times, the four have been actively working across Sir Alan’s business for the past six months, despite the fact that filming ended last October.
So far, no winner has been selected but instead four out of five business hopefuls are being tasked to perform “strategic roles” for further scrutiny by Sir Alan.
"I haven’t decided who has won yet,” said the Hackney-born entrepreneur. “But I have given the contestants strategic places across my business. It has been a very useful exercise in assessing the character and abilities."
Sir Alan, who is currently holidaying in America, has so far assigned five out of the original 14 candidates to sell, promote and market Amstrad products.
According to the 57-year-old, the end victor will "fit into the Sugar culture," after he or she has survived the next three firing sessions, due to be screened in the coming weeks.
