I take it they can see this .... so yeh come on in! Cat 16-11-2004, 06:39 PM  Yes, come on, come...its nice here. Don't be shy  Voice of reason 16-11-2004, 08:55 PM Yep, totally agree. Welcome guests, enter and enjoy :) I have also just noticed the stats, Most users ever online was 213, Today at 06:32 AM Good Lord! What happened to get everyone out of bed and on here so early of a Tuesday morning? Dolores 14-08-2005, 07:09 PM I sometimes notice Guests replying to a topic ...surely they are going to go the trouble of typing something up and then not being able to submit it? or can a guest contribute without signing up? Patsy 14-08-2005, 07:46 PM I was wondering about this yesterday Dol. In fact, I even went to the trouble of logging out and seeing how far you can go as a "guest". It's very limiting. ils 14-08-2005, 08:15 PM I have seen this before as well, it seems very strange to me. I think the only place a guest can post with out registering first is the introduction thread. I see to remember that a couple of done so in the past. Haydon 15-08-2005, 10:58 AM A guest isn't always a guest... it could be a robot. No, not the metal mickey sort... the search engine sort. When the search engines visit they don't always get identified by the forums as a search engine robot - instead they get logged as a guest. Patsy 15-08-2005, 11:05 AM Are these robots able to ignore their PMs, or is that just the owner's prerogative? :glare: Coastie 15-08-2005, 10:24 PM Yes come on in and join the family! :bye: As you can see by this photo of Cat, we are all young, spritely fun loving folk who like nothing more than a rebellious jammie dodger with our ovaltine before bed! http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/344524/2/senior___face_pucker.jpg Coastie 15-08-2005, 10:25 PM And here's Haydon, our fearless leader, puckering up to give you a big welcoming kiss as I type.... http://www.peculiarpeople.com/Images/Merchandise/gurning%20face.jpg Haydon 16-08-2005, 09:50 AM The scarey thing is Coastie - that is a stricking resemblance! Patsy - have I ignored one of your pm's? Dolores 16-08-2005, 06:34 PM I often notice that when a new prog is coming up that the "guests" are often spotted viewing stuff from the archives from previous shows. Most notably lately are X Factor and IAC ... do you think perhaps it's the research people for the programme? or do you think I rate out glib but often spot on and outrageous commnets too highly? :ninja: Coastie 16-08-2005, 07:30 PM I often notice that when a new prog is coming up that the "guests" are often spotted viewing stuff from the archives from previous shows. Most notably lately are X Factor and IAC ... do you think perhaps it's the research people for the programme? :ninja: WELL THEY NICKED MY CHESNEY HAWKES IDEA FOR THE SPORTY PROGRAM! :boxing: Haydon.....one of the guest just told me to say grab ya coat you've pulled...however Cat...they think you smell funny! :bag: survivorfan 17-08-2005, 12:26 PM And here's Haydon, our fearless leader, puckering up to give you a big welcoming kiss as I type.... http://www.peculiarpeople.com/Images/Merchandise/gurning%20face.jpg Haydon - I'd heard you have a special something that makes you popular with the ladies - now I see what it is. PS do you take your hat off? Andrea 18-08-2005, 11:08 PM it could be a robot. No, not the metal mickey sort... Ooh I'm not the only one who remembers metal mickey then:bag: Coastie 19-08-2005, 10:50 AM Metal Mickey was freaky! I now have the theme stuck in my head! |
