Just out of curiosity I received this in my e mail box today, not sure how it got there cos it wasn't even addressed to me, but however, there it was. Now I have deleted it already, because quite frankly I do not have a clue what it says...

So my point is. Could anyone here translate this and give me an idea what it is all about.

I thank you

In den fruehen Abendstunden des 13. Februar 1945 gegen 21:41 Uhr

Well, that was easy*

In the early evening hours 13 of February 1945 against 21:41 o'clock the sirens of the military hospital city Dresden first howled time. The inhabitants of the Elbmetropole made themselves the time still no concerns, there Dresden as city without armament and without military use admit were and from approx.. 1,2 million women, children and Greisen one inhabited. Against 22:09 o'clock the broadcast notified that the allied bomber formations changed their course and now on Dresden zufliegen. On it were briefly 244 British bombers in the sky of the German culture city. Three hours after this first attack wave - already were all available rescue parties, medic and fire pain men in Dresden - colluded further 500 bombers the sky. On the next day the last attack wave with again 300 US-B-17-Bombern followed. Between 12:12 o'clock and 12:21 o'clock these 783 tons threw bombs off. - more than 85 tons per minute correspond. After throwing off the US bombers set to the low-altitude flight and fired at fleeing with their on-board weapons. In these three strikes, which persisted altogether 14 hours, the "Befreier" threw 650,000 incendiary bombs and 200,000 high-explosives bomb off, which produced a fire tower of over 1000 degrees in the city. Although Dresden possessed neither air defense, nor armaments industry or similar war-important goals became far more than 350,000 innocent German civilians in these two days cold-bloodedly murdered. None the guilty allied one was ever accused for this brutal war crime also only and the mass media and the government of the German Federal Republic to be silent these acts dead and not see it not as necessary at the victims to intend!

*Thank you babel fish

Not really sure what the emails intention is. It's a historical record of the Dresden bombing. I guess it's someone who still has an axe to grind.

It seems to be about the Allied fire-bombing of Dresden at the end of WW2, and (I think) it is protesting that there has been nothing to remember the victims of what it alleges was a brutal war crime that none of the Allies were ever called to account for.

I should just like to update you all on the bombing business.

To date I have had 6 emails all accusing me of doing dreadful things to Dresden and not apologising for it.

I am seriously worried now and would like to state the foloowing:
I did not do it. I was not there
this is just in case anyone googling Dresden thiks I was.
