Following comments made on BBC London the other day, Mr C and I have been discussing the ratio of male to female bottles in the bathroom. Danny Baker was saying that in his bathroom, he has 2 bottles, while his wife has 22.

Mr C has about 6 in total I believe.

I have:

Face wash x 2
Shower gel x 1
"Feminine" wash x 1
Shampoo x 2
Conditioner x 2
Deep conditioner x 1
Body exfoliant x 1
Bubble bath x 1
Hair volumniser x 1
Hair straightening cream x 1
Hairspray x 1
Saline solution x 1
Contact lens cleaner x 1
Contact lens disinfecting solution x 1

So just the 17 for me then - and don't even START on how many I have in the bedroom!

What have you got in yours?

I don't think I have that many but lets find out -

"Feminine" wash x 2
Shampoo x 1
Conditioner x 1

Looks like I was right. I hate the fact that I have 2 bottles of feminine wash though, but a really nasty bout of thrush has made me too scared to ever stop using them!

Mr G, has heaps more bottles and things than I do, but then he's always been a big tart :D

Now Ceri, do you mean bottles that are just on show or are we counting the ones in the cabinet as well?

I only have two - scruffy mare that I am.

L'Occitane Bubble Bath and
L'Occitane Creme body wash.

In the en suite I have a small Chemist shop and not enough space to type what I have.

You're the only woman so far without any 'feminine wash' Flip. What do you do to keep yourself fragrant downstairs?

What is "femine" wash anyway?

Shampoo
Conditioner
Facial wash - more a tube than a bottle, does this count?
Shower gel - communal, does this count?
Small bubble bath, stolen from a hotel, naturally
3 bottles of perfume, which alternate between bathroom and bedroom

shower gel x 4 for communal use
bubblebath x 4 for communal use
and a bottle of calamine lotion for after the rare occasion I have used the facial things cos they always bring me out in a rash!

What the frig is Feminine Wash?

If its what I'm thinking, you must be a right smelly pair to need a specific agent for there.

And where is it stocked in the supermarket, I've never noticed it...with the Detox?

Feminine wash is a gentle, soap free wash for your bits. You shouldn't really wash your bits with soap as it upsets the PH balance and causes soreness, cystitis and thrush.

They sell it in supermarkets with the tampons and stuff. :)

Conditioners x 6 (Jades "straigtning x 3 and mine for coloured hair x 3)

Bath foam x 1
Deep Conditioning treatments x 2
Oil treatments for hair x 1

shaving gel mens x 1
clarins facial scrub x 2
apricot boy scrub x 1

then there is the "cleaning stuff" - jiff mousse, bathroom bleach spray, stuff to spray in the shower, and bleach......

I don't even know what feminine wash is - I don't think I have ever heard or seen it?? But I use Persian Paradise handmade soap, that or Patchouli handmade soap [my mate makes all my soaps].

And God forbid I shall never use Mint and Tea Tree again [after being warned by both you and Karenh - about its astringent qualities!!!! ouch, yet strangley hmmmm]

I don't go in for all this, special stuff that washes that bit, and this washes this bit, and this only sparkles this bit - to me it seems a bit of a con - whats wrong with good old fashioned soap and water?? [oops jsut read Ceri's post about fem wash - but I never seem to have that sort of problem?]

None either for us, as it is all packed, but normally I'd guess there's about 3 for him, 3 for the baby, and about 45 for me

Two shampoos, two conditioners, a shower gel and a radox bath in Mrs Dab's and my bathroom.

But the Misses Dabs' bathroom is like a perfumed fairy grotto with light glinting and glowing through dozens (hundreds?) of strange bottles in green, blue and red glass. Scary.
