Anyone seen it? I went two days ago and I still haven't processed fully all the links crammed in there, between the recent prequels and the original masterpieces. But leaving the nerdish stuff for nerds, it was a wonderful experience! Yoda's wellard, and all the action is fast and furious.

I was disappointed the wookies didn't feature as much as some articles promised, and I wish Ewen McGregor hadn't been quite so... actooorly... in playing the young Alec Guinness rather than the young Obi-Wan Kenobi.

But those are tiny nitpickings. I loved the film!

I saw it the same day as you Dabs, as you know. I loved it too and agree about Ewan McGregor. His beard was too bushy too! The fight between the Chancellor/Emperor and Mace Windu was brilliant.

Couldn't understand why Padmain (?) was hidden away with seemingly no servants or anything. Also, wouldn't she be considerably older than Anakin?

I'm sure I missed loads of subtleties, but I thought the links to the "future" episodes were done very well, considering they should be obvious enough for kids to understand.

If you liked the others, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I loved it too, but I did wonder how Anakin and Padme could be living together and no-one guess that they were at it, so to speak.

Yoda's fight sequences will stay with me forever

I haven't seen Episode II all the way through yet, but one say I plan on watching them all. My ex was a Star Wars obsessive though and it kind of put me off Star Wars a bit.

Great movie. Ties everything up nicely from first 2 movies and leads into Episode IV... Lets hope Lucas makes the last 3 movies of the series.

I went to see this the other day, am a bit of a Star Wars geek and was well impressed with the film.............have to say, the bit when Darth Vadar's headpiece went on & all was silent then he took his first breath & it was just that sound..............just goosebumps everywhere. Yes I know........nerd central but I don't care, it was just amazing.

It could only be better if it were called "Revenge of the Scythe" and it was about a giant scythe that went around killing people.

Now you're just being silly. Why would a scythe possibly want to take revenge?

i seen this last night and i thoroughly enjoyed it!!

yes the padme/anakin age difference has also baffled me!! rememeber in the first one he was only a wee boy and padme was a queen and everything!

the fights were brilliant except the first one, that was a bit slow. the ewan/anakin fight was the best, even though you know whats gonna happen it was still thrilling and i didnt expect him to get his legs chopped off and thats when i went - oooh thats why hes a robot!! doh!

m.windu fight with the chancellor was also good! i wonder, he went all wrinkly coz he did the thing with his hands, is that why yoda is green and wrinkly?

a couple of funny bits, when yoda goes in to confront the chancellor and the robot things get ready to get him he just waves his hands and theyre dead. and couple of other things but cant remember

cheesy dialogue, mostly from ewan but i can forgive that for the rather tasty anakin. something sexy about him when he turned evil!!

Simply because my mate asked to see "Revenge of the scythe."
