We have tropical fish and one of the fishes we have are Flame Tetras. Recently one of them has been playing dead! I have lost count to the number of times I go to the cupboard to get the net to scoop it out. It lies in the corner of the tank upside down several times a day. However as soon as you near to the tank it is up and swimming around and when it comes to feeding time it gobbles everything in sight, and even bashes the other fish out of the way. It swims okay when it is swimming and manages to get into the upright position whenever it wants. Is this fish just one laid back dude and wanting to be like a human and sleep on it's back or is there something wrong with it. The levels in the water are fine and all the other fishes are in fine fettle.

Also we will be moving in July what is the best way to transport tropical fish?

Cheers! :)

I don't know much about fish but I reckon you should transport them in water :kid:

I love the sound of the laid back fish, and to think I thought fish were dull. You live and learn...

Oh, you are just sooooooo funny Gel! Tropical fish are much more fun, they fight and are beautiful to look at. One of our little neons died and we came home to discover the shrimp feasting on it! Who says fish are boring?! :bag:

Not me... anymore... honest :D

I don't think I'd want to see them eating each other though, it sounds a bit gory, natural or not.
