Sorry if this has been done before...but not for a while

In Misery, when she wields the hammer to break the legs of James Caan. A moving moment.

Jaws always gets a mention. Roy Scheider and his young child mimicing his body movements when he is depressed and drunk thinking about the possibility of a shark in his waters.

Harry Potter, I think the Philosphers Stone, when he found the memory window and was seeing his dead parents. Very inventive.

Regeneration. When the blocked traumatic memory returns.

Wizard of Oz " I do believe in spooks , I do believe in spooks"

What's Eating Gilbert Grape - a full cinematic moment of the very beautiful Johnny Depp. Words fail me.....

The Searchers, John Wayne and Ethan riding back to the burning ranch.

So many...

The chemistry between Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman during their first scene together in Casablanca.

Dennis Quaid and Ellen Barkin's seriously erotic sex scene in The Big Easy.

Clint Eastwood and Chief Dan George's banter throughout The Outlaw Josey Wales.

The end of Dirty Dancing when all the staff dance into the picture. Still brings a tear to my eye, that one.

"Keep the line straight, boys." Trevor Howard's final order to his fellow Cockleshell Heroes, as he and they are about to be executed by firing squad.

Buffy Sainte-Marie's theme song wherever it's heard in Soldier Blue.

Ken Watanabe's dying words in The Last Samurai.

The Crying Game - Do I really need to say what part?

Sixth Sense - When you found out that Bruce Willis was a ghost!

And there is more, these are just a few!

The Way We Were - the first moment of attraction "It all came to easily"

Jane Eyre - when Rochester is blinded and she hears him calling "Jane, Jane" (love William Hurt and Charlotte Gainsborough)

Mrs Doubtfire "Matchmaker, Matchmaker make me a match"

The Pledge - love the beginning and end of this film where Jack N believes he has imagined it all

You Can Count on Me - brother and sister saying goodbye

Lost In Translation - the most beautiful geisha wedding in Kyoto. Great shot.

The Bridges of Madison County when Meryl has her hand on the door ready to go, Clint in the truck in front, indicating and waiting....

Sixth Sense too - "I have something to tell you, I see dead people..."

The Rocky Horror Show when Brad and Janet are waiting for Frankenfurter to arrive.

And the shot of them stood there and Frankenfurter coming down in the lift behind them.

Does anyone else have fave bits of movies which are just a tiny movement or one word that you look out for when watching a film again?

I ask this as well in the Fugitive (as well as the classic Tommy '...every dog house, out house, hen house...' speech) I love the bit when he's in the hotel laundry at the end and he dodges past one of the laundry bags only to have the bag cord bump his ear.....I don't know what it is about this millisecond of film but I always wait for it and smile!

Some scenes I could rewatch endlessly are:

As Good As It Gets- The scene where Jack (I am blanking on his character's name in the film) and Helen Hunt (blanking on hers too) are dining together...and he gives her a compliment by saying that he started taking medicine for his OCD, and she looks at him confused and asks why that's a compliment...and he said...because you make me want to be a better man.

Notting Hill- the Whoopsie-Daisies scene when they are trying to climb into the garden.

The Last Samurai- The scene at the end where they charge towards the Japanese Army on their horses.

About A Boy- When they are all eating at the boy and his mother's house for thanksgiving or Christmas or something and are laughing about the fact that the boy killed the duck with a loaf of bread.

Edited to add: Just thought of another:

Never Been Kissed- Drew Barrymore is talking to her brother on the phone after having had a "magic" brownie at a bar and looks down at her empty pie plate and says something to the effect of "Omg, somebody ate all my pie"...that little snippet just gets me laughing every time...the way it is delivered is just perfect...

Oh - obscure reference - the opening scene to Paradise Road where they show the fall of Singapore, all the bombs are landing as the men try and get the women on to ships and they play Elgars Cello Concerto to it.

Love the bit where Ewan shags the woman then promptly removes his condom as he is exiled to the hall way! Talk about keeping it real!

Hate to be boring but:

Lost in Translation, when he gets out of the cab to say goodbye on the street. A kiss, a look, 2 lost souls recognising each other and going on with their respective lives. And the music is fab.

Sad but true, I love The Champ. Used to play it on the tv here almost weekly so I kept seeing the final "wake up champ" scene with Ricky Schroder and Jon Voight. Always gets me going. Also loved when he was giving the Faye Dunaway character "another chance".

Big Lebowski. Dancing on the piano steps. Jeff Bridges character.
Laurel and Hardy "Swiss Miss" trying to get the brandy from the St Bernard dog, throwing feathers in the air.
