View Full Version : Makosi - mission possible?
Gelastic 28-05-2005, 07:02 PM So now she finally usderstands her mission do you think it's possible she will manage it, and if she does get everyone to vote for her, what are the chances they'll all vote for her the week after too... and so on.
If I was her I think I'd get them all to love me, then tell them all on the day of the vote that I was really homesick and really wanted to go home, but hated quitting things. Then the next day I'd have a complete turn around and tell them all I liked them too much to want to leave.
As it is, I can't see her mission working anyway cos n one seems to like anyone so the votes likely to be really fragmented.
Ceridwen 28-05-2005, 07:09 PM I wouldn't do what she's doing. It is going to be a long week, with everyone hating you. I think I would do what you have said, Gel!!
And I doubt her plan will work, from what I have seen of things. Maxwell is going down like a lead balloon so I suspect he will get his fair share of votes.
She's going t have to play the back stabbing game. Dive in their with a massive wooden spoon and spill the beans on what people have been saying behind others backs and make up a few lies.
I wouldn't go with the homesick story because if she does get immuntiy from the eviction, sure as eggs is eggs BB are going to tell the other HM's why, and I think they'll repect her a bit more if she was a right bitch to them all!
Rothera 28-05-2005, 10:26 PM If I was her I think I wouldn't try and make everyone hate me. Afterall, if I was successful, how would I get them to like me the following week?
I'm not sure how well she will do. Of course having this "task" does mean that she is guaranteed more coverage this week which may mean that if she is up for the public vote the public won't vote for her.
Blimey, if you can understand my rambling argument you are exempt from nominating me as SO muppet this week. ;)

Can I pretend I didnt understand :D
I se your point Bob, BB is bound to tell them if they thought she was being sneaky about it, but I bet they don't get told iof she does suceed.
Andrea 28-05-2005, 10:28 PM Ooh yeh, good point Rothera.
If she does go up for the public vote she may not get many votes anyway.
So the person (if its only one) that goes up with her, may be a dead cert to be evicted.
Pandora 28-05-2005, 11:29 PM I wouldn't do what she's doing. It is going to be a long week, with everyone hating you. I think I would do what you have said, Gel!!

I dont think she has to do it for a week. The first set of nominations will be tuesday, so she only has to be vile for a couple more days. Not that she seems to be bothered, she is taking the preciousness and being a bitch like a duck to water - so what does that tell us.... :closedeye
And as you say, the cockney diamond geeeeeezaaaaahhhhh, Maxwell, seems about as popular as a rat sandwich at the moment, so she may well have a bit of competition.
Gelastic 29-05-2005, 01:02 PM Perhaps its her natural state and she was planning to pretend to be nice :D
I lve the rat sandwich analogy!
I think Makosi is ddeliberately trying to get housemates to hate her. However, I also think that she really is like this ir that she is the centre of the universe. I think even if she didn't have this mission from BB that she still be acting like a self-centred cow. This just gives her an excellent excuse.
Dolores 30-05-2005, 07:15 AM I have to say after watching last nights (Sat) highlights i was thinking that a few of them had been given the same task as Makosi cos they were so obnoxious and argumentative. ie. Maxwell (who each time he opens his mouth makes me want to punch him harder and harder) and Science.
I loved the way that Makosi was being awkward about the lights, in an effort to annoy her housemates deliberatley (I hope!) and Maxwell got all arsey about it (quite rightly I thought) but his aggressiveness towards Makosi and his general nastiness had everyone thinking he was a tw@ instead of being annoyed with Makosi!
I dread to think how Maxwell would have (or indeed could) crank up his annoyance and dislikability levels anymore than he has so far ... and that's without even trying! The guy is a natural idiot!
I think she naturally is quite horrid. She dosn't change in the dairy room "I am the most mature person here" (Kemal has also said this).
Not liking her at all, but maybe she is just a really good actress and I too have been fooled.
I do like her look though, very 70's and I am embracing the 70's this summer.
sayangmouse 30-05-2005, 02:58 PM All she had to do was delete the entire shopping list and order 100 cases of Pink Tango, and I think her mission would have been secure!
Pandora 30-05-2005, 03:01 PM All she had to do was delete the entire shopping list and order 100 cases of Pink Tango, and I think her mission would have been secure!
I can actually see her desperation for Cherry Tango, its gorgeous.
I dont like her either, I cant stand people who are precious, however I dont want her to go either - she is extremely entertaining. Unlike Vanessa who is boring beyond belief.
Gelastic 30-05-2005, 03:02 PM I don't know if anyone has seen the article on Digitalspy (hope its okay to mention DS) but apprantly a newspaper in Nigeria has been calling her all sorts!
sayangmouse - what a fab idea, it wouldn't have occured to me either! You're clearly an evil genius :D

Ill have to go and look at that report. Is she Nigerian then? Last night she was telling everyone she is from Zimbabwe and though she isnt ACTUALLY a Princess, she IS from royalty....

Probably is Zimbabwe actually - I ws about to type that, then I was thinking I had it wrong!
They are very rude about her, a bit harsh I felt, and also a bit, well childish. Calling her things like "foul mouthed weasel".
I feel they're dragging the maturity of this years BB right down
She's going to have to stop being pally with the tree house gang then.
It must be a gem of a task to someone like her, I think she is naturally like that, but at the end if she succeeds she can just tell them all it was a task and she had to do it. Of course much easier if she does get immiunity and another annoying blip (Maxwell) gets evicted, then they'll all love her
secrets 31-05-2005, 10:00 PM I don't think she will get enough votes, she is trying hard to upset people, but it isn't working. I think she is playing a good game so far and will outstay a few.
At this moment in time i quite like her.

At this moment in time i quite like her. Tonight, one or two people were questioning her as to whether or not she was a "mole" because of her weird behaviour.
Suddenly out of the blue, Science said "well if you're not a mole, I reckon youve been given some sort of mission, by Big Brother........"
Wow, the boy got it spot on and Makosi looked seriously worried !
Andrea 31-05-2005, 10:29 PM Yeh I saw that Pandora, between Science and Kemal, they have got her sussed.
Although I do think she has done enough to get the votes.
BTW hope you are feeling better.
Gelastic 31-05-2005, 11:23 PM Wow, that's quite clever of science really - I'm surprised. Poor Makosi, she must be worried, although in all fairness, she didn't tell them.
isleofweather 01-06-2005, 08:54 AM How about that clever little Scientist last night?
I am warming to him. Old barge bum makosi looked well worried when he nailed her to the mast "wiv his finkin"
Her eyes are loopy and circular.

Yep Science nailed it didn't he...she is a Missionette. There is suprisingly a lot of intelligence in this house under all the obscurity.

BTW hope you are feeling better. Ooh yes, much improved thanks Andrea hun, bit scary being told you've got pneumonia... in the words of Andy from Little Britain, Doan Like Ittttt!! Im looking forward to my holiday too, which will do me the world of good. Thanks for asking
I wonder if Kemal, Lesley and Science have spread the word about what they suspect about Makosi? If so, she may not get the noms she needs !!
As much as this new unlucky 13th housemate stuff has been highly entertaining, does anyone else think that there's a danger of this becoming "The Makosi Show"?
Critique 01-06-2005, 11:47 PM I think it was pretty mean (well very Big Brother) to make her choose who would be up for eviction, after all that. She is just sooooooo thick. She still didn't grasp that the people with the most votes would be immune so when she made her nominations she picked people that she actually wanted out!!!
Then when they made her pick the eviction candidates she had to choose people she didn't want to evict!!! Silly moo :bored:
Dolores 02-06-2005, 07:12 AM I had to smile at Makosi when she was asked to nominate two people to be put up. She hesitated for so long, when just minutes before when asked for her nominations initally she had been SO sure of who she'd like to vote for but didnt' cos she obviouslythought they'd get a lot of votes.
I also laughed at big brother when she took so long explaining about Mary (a very considered explanation I thought) and then she said Craig and BB obviously fed up of watching her agonise cut her dead and didn't wait for an explanation!!!
I hope we see a changed Makosi now ... and I reallythink she should tell the others what her mission was, just to clear up their misconception of her beign a liar. I think she is a smart cookie and a player. Yep I like Makosi!
maxine 02-06-2005, 08:29 AM Personally I think she made a big mistake telling Kemal that she had chosen who was up for eviction. She rushed into it without giving any thought to the pros and cons of letting him in on the secret. Also I'm not sure that BB meant she should tell that part, just the bit about her trying to get the most nominations.
And I'm not sure she's the 'unlucky' 13th housemate. Getting to choose the 2 people you dislike the most and knowing they'll be up for eviction is not what I call unlucky.

Oh, did she have some logic to her choice then? I must have missed that bit, I was only half watching cos I was sewing. Maybe she is smarter than I gave her credit for then.
I think she should have taken Craig and Mary to one side and explained the situation (assuming that she didn't cos I may have missed that too  )
At least that way they wouldn't have felt that they were the most disliked by the others.
