View Full Version : Queen or Dictator?
floopy 29-05-2005, 07:53 PM Some time ago, Scooby the Fair left Pol Cat in charge of his monthly thread-theming on the assumption that she would continue to run the administration of the monthly theme on his behalf until he returned.
It seems to me that a little power has gone to someone's head, and what used to be a returning officer's role has now become a tin pot dictatorship, with themes being forced upon us without having gone through the proper suggestion and voting process.
Cat has even gone as far as to annouce herself the Queen of the Monthly Theme.
Fellow members - she must be stopped!
Show your allegiance to the rebel uprising here. Vote "Dictator" if you believe in democracy, freedom and the right to cultivate a garden full of weeds.
Patsy 29-05-2005, 08:14 PM She is undoubtedly the Queen. You may not agree with what she says, but no other beggar could be bothered to do it. No bias, honest. :ninja:
Queen. That's it. And she's my mate, too. :)
floopy 29-05-2005, 08:16 PM She's my mate too, but she can't govern
Patsy 29-05-2005, 08:19 PM Try stopping her. She's like a ship in full sale. Quite magnificent. Someone who has voted has not shown themselves. Hmmmmm interrrrrestink.
I want to change my vote, I voted without reading the last paragraph. Alan titwotsit is my hero and Floppy must just be a bully.
floopy 29-05-2005, 08:29 PM Oi , you
OUT!
Patsy 29-05-2005, 08:34 PM EXCUSE ME!
'Ger off calling my friend a bully!
Er, whim... that's a rather strange thing to say. Not the kind of thing normally heard from someone completely new to a board, I'd say. And totally wrong, too, as a matter of fact.
Patsy 29-05-2005, 08:42 PM Methinks this "person" thinks we are stupid
floopy 29-05-2005, 08:52 PM but I am a bully :ninja:
Methinks this "person" thinks we are stupid
Methinks that is a strange thing to say.
Floopy started the thread as a joke didn't she/he? I was just breaking the ice...
I have to agree with Floops, even though she is my mate and I love her dearly she can't goven!
Not strange at all, actually.
Crikey, it's like facing an army.
Andrea 29-05-2005, 09:22 PM Well I think she is a Queen and took on a job that was sure to upset someone whatever she chooses. So you go girl:thumbsup:

Don't pick on the bloke, he may have a point.
Although I did also vote that Cat is a dictator :D (not that there's anything wrong with that your eminence)
No question she is a Queen, but her full title is Queen Cat of the Dictatorship - she is doing a fine job, as long as she keeps me supplied with my wine for June!!
And LOL @ Pats She's like a ship in full sale Raise your glasses to Queen Cat of the Dictatorship and all who sail in her!! Hip Hip Hooooorah!!!:pimp:
Dolores 30-05-2005, 04:25 PM some of you guys need to chill out a bit!
I voted for neither queen nor dictator cos Cat is neither and to be frank the third choice baffled me a bit!
floopy 30-05-2005, 04:32 PM Which of the two words did you not understand?
I voted for Queen. I would have voted for Sex Godess if it was there.
I would have insisted everyone else voted for it too.. :)
Patsy 30-05-2005, 04:42 PM Which of the two words did you not understand?
 consider me well chilled.
I voted for Cat Who as I didn't know whether it was Cat Stevens or Cat from Eastenders.
P.S. Let's not close ranks on newbies - we were all one once and he/she has just as much right to be rude to Cat as I do :D ;)

Patsy 30-05-2005, 05:37 PM But he called her Floppy? Maybe he knows her after all? :ninja:

But he called her Floppy? Maybe he knows her after all? :ninja:

Ceridwen 30-05-2005, 06:04 PM Cat? Who she?

floopy 30-05-2005, 06:50 PM When whim says "put me on to this place", what (s)he actually means is that his/her persistent stalking finally came through and my secret location was discovered.
Prepare for battle :wink_kiss

By, 'persistent stalking', do you mean your months of agonising torment until I finally gave in?
"his/her", now let's be fair, it's never been my gender in question, floppy.

:ninja:
Have you voted my friend :)
floopy 30-05-2005, 07:08 PM He voted Dictator, I'm afraid :photo:
I did, but due to my eagerness to participate, I voted hastily. I hadn't seen floppy's blatant disrespect for gardening when I cast my vote. Sorry ma'am!

Actually I meant for June's theme whim. There is still time, the poll dosn't close till tomorrow. :wink2:
Crikey, I'm being censored all over the place! It wasn't really a swear word, it was what two men lovingly do :D
Patsy 30-05-2005, 09:02 PM Is it one who bugs?
I don't think the bunny ever did that, no
Coastie 30-05-2005, 09:05 PM I don't think the bunny ever did that, no
LOL!
Becks 31-05-2005, 01:13 PM Well I was'nt going to vote as had not noticed this behaviour but then i read:
"BEWARE!
This thread is an imposter..post at your peril.
The REAL June thread will be along...well in June.
Cat
Her Royal Excellency of the Monthly Theme Thread
31st May 2005"
and I was'nt invited to the coronation and more importantly the party after so its definately dictator.
I have decided to opt out of this poll as cat is very kindly driving me to Portsmouth at the weekend.
I shall vote after the weekend though.....
