thought I'd start a thread on Kemal, cause I think he if fab.

In a way he is similar to Marco from last year but I also think he is very different.
He isn't as loud as Marco, and the barney that he was having with Science was brilliant tonight. He had an answer for everything that Science came out with.
I actually think that Kemal is very intelligent.

So at the moment he is my favourite.

I just can't believe how asexual and androgenous he looks. Watching him waltz about the house in his stilettos was very surreal.
And I agree - what a great fight between him and that plonker who calls himself Science!
IN fact, tonights episode was just jammed pack full of fights. I like how this is turning out....

No sorry, I dont think he is anything like Marco.

Marco was an out and out nasty bitch. Kemal is intelligent, sensitive and SO funny - sometimes unintentionally. He can obviously hold his own in an argument and has bags and bags of confidence.

He is obviously in dire need of a good feed though and I think Lesley should give him her share of the food......

yes i quite like Kemal. He seems very funny and quick with the come back with a kind side to him (I rate kindness very highly!). But in real life I think I'd find him just too effiminate.

And although Science was a bit of a d**khead with the arguing about the chicken and then carrying on arguing with Kemal. I quite liked the way that Science admitted he was confused by Kemal sexuality in the diary room ... I thought he was honest and quite endearing ... I just wish he didn't argue so much!

in some respects the arguments between caramel and science diet was refreshing as it never once was voilent or intimidating - maybe as both look like 12 year old boys. I kind of think they like one and other and it revealed a nice side in both (must have lovely mothers).

Both are interesting in that most folks watching have never met people like that.

Good point weatherman. Even Mr Cat sat transfixed this morning watching the repeat...their honesty is so refreshing and though it was a loud argument it hadn't occured to me till you pointed it out that it was very non aggressive.
"You're not a man and your not a girl, you're somewhere in between and I'm confused". Wonderful!

Kemal is growing on me too.

yes I think so too Cat. he is quickly becoming very stereotypical of gay queenish bloke and i don't think he'll be a catalyst for very much entertainment in the long run.

gone right off kemal now! he is a raging queen who is totally affected and probably never ever does anything without thinking of the consequences. I think he is the worst one in there for the "me, me, me" syndrome. Someone should slap him and tell him to grow up and act like a man! He is very tiring to watch, he must be a nightmare to live with!

I know Maxwell is a jerk, but I thought he was spot on with the "dustbin bath" that Kemal took saying it was so the camera would be focussed on him (but to a large extent everyone is guilty of showing off ... I know I do), I just don't know why Kemal bothered to deny it in his oh-so affected queeny voice!!

Yes the bath thing with the bin is very grating now. I mean, why doesnt he use the shower?

He is a total drama queen too - taking offence at the slightest thing too, if the mood takes him. He is constantly bickering with people over nothing in particular and loves the sound of his own voice (although, to be far, so does Roberto). Kemal needs to stop performing all the time.

I cant see him winning this. He may stay in a few more weeks, but he wont win.

Not going to last out the 2 weeks at this rate. I didn't think that Roberto was 'bang out of order'. Has Kemal no conception what so ever of how cruel he is being to his parents - if its true that they had no idea of his sexuality (do find this difficult to believe some how) and they are finding out by watching him gloat and mince about on this show.

I think Roberto was 'bang on' and that Kemal should stop thinking about himself all the time and learn to respect other peoples feelings.

Stupid pillock.

Boo Kemal, Boo.

maxine
07-06-2005, 06:47 AM
I agree with you about Kemal being cruel letting his parents find out his way Cat, but why does Roberto think he's the one to make an issue of it? Like he's making some sort of revelation that Kemal hasn't already thought of himself. Not that I'm defending Kemal - I think he's an irritating little pr!ck with a far too high opinion of himself.

Dolores
07-06-2005, 06:47 AM
Kemal has shown himself up to be a complete and utter prat ... mind he's in bloody good company!I've stopped laughing at him now ... who does he think he is? If he was any more up himself ... well he couldn't be it would be impossible!! He is only interested in Kemal and the effect that Kemal has on a situation. He cares not one jot for anyone else ... and if anyone else in the house says "he's intelligent" one more time I'll scream ... I for one have seen no evidence of intelligence so far!

Gelastic

While I wouldn't do what Kemal is doing, heaps of people do it on Jerry Springer etc all the time, so perhaps he (Kemal) feels it's okay.

Much as the Leo Sayer Lookalike, grasshopper legged Kemal annoys me sometimes, he HAS made me laugh out loud with his observations.

When nominating Maxwell in the diary room this week, he was absolutely spot on with his assessment of him.

Some of his one liners are excellent too.

However, as the rest of you have also said, his diva-ness is wearing sometimes and I wish he would quit with wearing the stilettos, its such a pretention.

Yup, got to agree, its the Makosi ice cream syndrome again (fun to start with, but after 10 ice creams a day for 6 weeks we scream for no more).

Kemal will go before the end. I reckon its between Derek, Science (famous last words), and Eugene. I don't think any of the women will get close. I just joined hte Eugene fan club as he is my Bambi now. I think that Derek and Science may be up for eviction a few times more though so that isn't in their favour. Eugene may slip under the radar as he is so much NOT a threat, just like Vanessa seems to be doing.

Its been the subject of conversation for some weeks now amongst the housemates, with Kemal saying that he thought his Mother would be waiting for him outside ready to hit him with her stiletto or that he would be disowned. Many of the HMs couldnt believe they hadnt sussed that Kemal was gay, given he was so camp, he said they hadnt. I hated the way that Makosi, in the loft with her female brown nosers, made out that all the "oomph" and divaishness had gone out of Kemal since he had received his video clip from his parents.

Ooh kind of noticed another one of these tonight.

Derek was going on about how he asked Kemal whether he had nominated and Kemal replied no, not yet.
Derek then went on to say how he was devious and sly because he had nominated.
But actually at that time, Kemal hadn't nominated, he'd just talked to BB and came out again. He went back in later and nominated.
So Derek and the Makosi team have got it all wrong again.

Not only can Kemal stick up for himself, but he is a lot cleverer than Makosi and co, and would be able to run rings around them, if he chose.

He was funny in the diary room tonight, trying to learn the anthems. When he got to Scotlands, he sang along to the end looking quite happy and said, "Ooooh that one was LOVELYYYYYYYYY.... but my apologies to Scotland, Wales, England, and whoever else because this is going to be awful !!!"

As for Makosi going to sit with Craig and Anthony for the sole purpose of sticking the boot into Kemal. That was disgusting and neither of the thickos queried why, for the first time in weeks, she was gving either of them the time of day in the sofa room.

Kemal is really annoying me with his smugness thinking that he's the only one clever enough to work out that Makosi is a BB plant or an actress rather than just another ordinary housemate.......
He thinks he's so cever for working it out - then there was nothing to work out in the first place.
Makosi has played him for a fool by letting him carry on believing that she working for BB

Bob

I agree Minkle. Kamal just wants to be Makosi. He can't stand that the attention is taken away from himself. His diary room chat yeterday was very revealing.
I don't think he is that clever, he is quite well spoken and knows how to make sure everyone is listening to him by doing those enormous exagerations when speaking, drawing out each syllabol.
He was talking with Derek about Anthony saying that Anthony was still working out who he was. He told Derek, Oh I went through all that stage age 15 , I took that to say that he is more intelligent.
if anyone is confused about who they are it's kamal.
He loves Makosi, he wants to be Makosi, but he hates himself then he hates her, then he loves her then he loves himself or is that he loves makosi?

Just how sordid was that little tale?

And how lucky was Kemal not to have been murdered and dumped into said skip?

The least he could do, now he has outed himself, is be a little sensitive and think of his parents and relatives watching. Its been a big step for them to accept he is gay without hearing about their son's sex life

It might have been mentioned before on this thread, but Kemals family are quite traditional, and they showed on BBLB how, when any housemate leaves the house Kemal always throws a half drink glass of water on the grass behind them. Apparently that means good luck to the one that left.

Poor old Kitty having to go in that house ... even for an hour!

And wtf was Kemal on about in the diary room "does it bite" "is it a boy or girl" "has it got teeth" "I don't like animals" ... was this endearing to his fans? anyone out there a fan who found it endearing?

anyone a fan? anyone?

have we got tumbleweed blowing in the wind?!

I have to admit that it made me laugh. When he was saying that everyone has a game plan in the house .... even the cat :w00t:

I've never been a fan of Kemal but I did think he was quite amusing the way he sent himself up in the diary room over the cat :)

Oh please, please, please anyone who is voting get this revolting man out. He is so vicious about Orlaith and I just can't see she desrves it. He's not funny, I'm bored with his personality. He's just plain nasty.

Though I agree that he has got a very nasty streak running through him and his slating of Orlaith is unncessary (but is no better or worse than Derek or Makosi's) - I would much rather watch him than the dreadfull dullard that is Orlaith. She justs reaks misery now and needs to go.

Personally Id like to kick those little stick legs from under him. He really needs to get over himself.

Unfortunately I think Orlaith's luck will run out this Friday and we will have to suffer the screeching, bullying, backstabbing Kemal for another week....

I have a new reason to hate Kemal. I was just about to text to get him out last night (unheard of for me) when, in my haste, I knocked a glass of red wine over my new cream carpet. I blame him entirely. :glare:

i actually like kemal, i prefer a bitching person who is out in the open, then a bitching person that does it very secretly and discreetly

I think he is a confused little child who doesn't know how to play nice with grown ups.

kemals hideous hair is enough for anyone, combine this with his use of "endearments" such as "babydoll" used to convey the false image that he is in control and you get a person who you would like o u t on Friday.

kemal can't seem to see beyond his own gender issues. Derek keeps calling him "brawve" for coming out in the house...it would have been a damn site braver if he had told his parents before going in.

Agree. And Roberto had a good point when he said that he thought kemal was insensitive to tell his parents at the same time as the rest of the world on national TV. Very selfish. And nw they find out that their son lost his virginity to a stranger in a skip when all teh time they thought he was safely tucked up in bed in ther care.
What must his poor parents be going through?
*Although have to say they are doing a good job of suporint him on BBLB

Didn't work though! Ding dong the bitch is dead! It didnt did it? I was convinced they were showing him in a good light though, to try and influence votes.

Maybe the Great British Public arent as stupid as endemol like to think.....

I loved the look on his face when he realised that he had lost to the "skanky b!tch".... his mouth was smiling but his eyes looked like he had just been stunned by a cattle prod... :w00t:

I thought he came across well in his interview. At least he was refreshingly honest when he said that he was 'a little suprised' that he was there and not Orlaith...all the 'I knew it was going to be me' is soooooooooooo dull. I admired him for that.

I enjoyed it.

Has anyone here seen Kemal on BBLB ?

What i dont understand is - why do men who like to dress like women go totally OTT - and why do they walk like they are trying to walk across a tight rope - all hip wiggling and strutting ? I just find it really annoying.

Kemal is pouting for England on there, and his outfits seem to get skimpier and skimpier.

I have to say - he is being such a show off that im kinda going off him.

i saw him the other night on BBLB (Monday I think), he was actually rather amusing and deliciously gossipy ... he makes a better BBLB guest than he does BB housemate!

but he was sat there in his ridiculous high heels looking like a complete ****!

He was rather horrid to Orlaith though. He came across as quite a spoilt, nasty and vile character. I don't blame Orlaith for not wanting to be friends with any of them in there, they are all in their way quite nasty people. Kemal thought he came off better cos he felt that he told Orlaith what was what and I bet he can't wait to tell Derek & Makosi how he told her exactly what he thought of her on TV. What a sad individual he is!

 oh gosh he is horrible isn't he! what's to be gained from telling orlaith he doesn't like her? mind you if I was her I'd be glad he didn't like me. i'd rather die than be thought of as "Kemal's type of person"!!!

bella said in the post above that Kemal said on BBLB to Orlaith's face that he didn't like her ... how dare he! what's brave about that, it is just plain unkind and unncessary.

He was really awful. He told her that all she wanted was fame and to get exposure and she never tried to be friends with them...........well, can you really blame the poor girl. He acused her off bleating on whether she should stay or not, which she did but didn't they all at some point. Kemal included?!! And Derek well at the begining he was going to leave so he could go to a friend's wedding and see Wimbledon (even though it was all over when he said this)! Orlaith stood her ground though and even though Kemal think he won, Orlaith definitely came off better in my book! ;)

Orlaith definitely came off better. She stood her ground and I really liked it when after kemal had spat his venom in her face for ten minutes without pausing for breathe, she gave a gently smile and said that she knew she was going to walk it was just a case of biding her time, and she was glad she walked after kemal got evicted. I punked you! she said.
Nice one
kemal looked like he'd been left in a skip again and Orlaith looked gorgeous and more realxed and happy then she ever did in the house

Ha ha... talk about getting the last word eh. All that vitriol from Kemal and she just shot him down in flames with that one sentence.

I doubt he will ever get over the fact that he lost against the "skanky b!tch" :w00t:
