Apparently he encouraged her to go for the auditions, coached her and finally celebrated her acceptance last week at the University they both attend.

This has been reported on Digital Spy and has made the papers today.

Endemol (of course) say that she got through on her own merit, but Im sorry I find the fact that a BB6 contestant this year being mates with a BB5 contestant from last year EXTREMELY suspicious. :mellow:

The trouble is, most of them say crap like this during their auditions, then they act totally different in the house. I expect this is the case with Vanessa.

When we saw her audition tape she reminded me so much of Marco, the way she spoke and her mannerisms overall. Yesterday on BBLB they showed their video diaries from when they were hidden away for two weeks before BB started, again she was doing the whole Marco act.
Since entering the house I haven't seen or heard her behave like this at all. Very strange. Then I read in the paper that she is a friend of Marco and he coached her for going onto BB. Now it makes sense :rolleyes:

Didn't she just, she was the first one out into the garden whooping around, and jumping up & down, ogling all the goodies! I must admit the episode with the maggots would have turned my stomach but I would have at least made an effort for the sake of the team. The fact she didn't even go into the room and then run away with pink slippers on really just sums the girl up. And that droning voice really gets on my nerves, she should be on Ladette to Lady and get herself some elocution (sp?) lessons!

That said though, I am rather pleased that the joke is being played on Maxwell, I can't wait to see his reaction when he finds out he has been stitched up!!! :devil:

The maggots thing was utterly, utterly pathetic and the way she acted after was incredible - no shame at all.

I think she said what she did to Makosi because she fancies Anthony herself. If you noticed, the other night she made a point of saying to Makosi, "Yeah, Anthony said he fancied ME when he first came in here....oh he said he fancied you, me and Saskia actually" which I thought was really bitchy!

Why is she being so overlooked I muse to myself. She nearly ballsed up the task before it had even begun, never showed any thanks or shame that Maxwell stood in for her - this especially peeves me as just as his reputation was about to topple it has been picked up again..boooo. Then leaping about the garden and troughing the goodies was incredible....and that it really didn't seem to bother anyone. Apart from the obvious, has she got a handicap that we can't see and the others have been told to take care of her.

Anyone else think Vanessa and Makosi have done a 'Michelle' and put on weight since they've been in there? I think Michelle put on about 16lbs last year.

I think Makosi has said that she has gained (she thinks) about 1/2 stone since entering the house. You can see that she has gained weight, but not excessively. As for Vanessa, i try not to look at her as she turns my stomach.

I just had a laugh at one of the betting odds:

1) Vanessa to win - 50 to 1
2) Chance of someone else* winning - 13 to 2

* the someone else relates to someone not currently in the house, so excludes all current HMs

So Vanessa is much less likely to win than someone from the public.

Since Derek and Science commented about her eating, Ive been watching her and Derek is absolutely right. She has one bowl of cereal for breakfast and then ten minutes later is filling the bowl up to the top again. She doesnt just have ONE slice of toast, she will have three piled up on her plate. She doesnt just take one or two biscuits, she takes the entire packet outside with a cup of tea and ploughs her way through them.

Now dont get me wrong, I know most of us could serious damage to a packet of biscuits, but when you are in a house, sharing limited food stocks with others, wouldnt you tone it down a bit?????
