The wedding itself was in Las Vegas, and the lovely Gelastic was my bridesmaid. After the wedding me and Mr Rothera went on a tour around the parks and deserts of Utah, Nevada and California. It was amazing.

Then, when we got back to the UK we had a party for all of our friends at a nearby pub. The photo above is from the party. Any excuse to wear my dress a second time. :angel_not

Thanks PJ - but it's not me. I couldn't go to the party but as soon as a certain Mrs R emails me a pic of me in my bridesmaid frock I'll put it up. I dn't look nearly as lovely as Rothera, who looked amazing, but she did pay for me to have my hair put up so that was fab.

The photo shows my sister and my little niece. Gelastic was only able to be bridesmaid in Las Vegas. She looked as stunning as my sister did. Once I have some pics electronically I will post one of Gelastic looking fab. :wub:

:D It was a bit stange actually because we both joined at around the same time, using diffrent names to the names we used on our previous MB and we didn't mention to each other that we were joining. And then we both started thinking... hmmm that person seems so familiar :D

Alhtough our friendship has always been a bit like that, we met on DS and became great friends and it turned out not only did I work with her sister, but was really good friends with her as well!

I also introduced Mr and Mrs Rothera - although I was going to deny it if they didn't get along, but now they're married I can take ALL the credit :D

It's true! I first met Mr Rothera at Gelastic's humble abode. I didn't think we would become more than friends, but Gelastic obviously knew better as after Mr Rothera left that day she said that we should get married! :eek:

Oh that reminds me, when we all went to dinner that night, Rothera was wearing the tiara, and this little girl (3 r 4) came up to her and whispered "are you a princess?". It was so cute, apparantly her mum had taken her to Excalibur (the medieval castle hotel) to see the princess, but the show had finished when they got there, and they missed her.

The little girl was thrilled when Rothera said yes :D
