Is it me or what? Everyone, including Maxwell, talks about Anthony as a "pretty boy"... Science even said he looked like Tom Cruise (who, no doubt, is thinking of hanging himself right now).

I think Anthony is really peculiar looking ! He has the upturned nose of one of the local shop owners on the league of gentlemen, his hair is so densely black it looks dyed, his mouth is constantly hanging open, his eyebrows look drawn on, he has short arms and is about 4ft 3" !

Honestly, Im not being contrary but I really CANNOT see why Lesley and one or two others have dubbed him "the looker". :glare:

Fair enough Anthony is actually quite nice, he's uncomplicated, wears his heart on his sleeve, but he hasn't been entertaining enough or devious enough to warrant winning BB.
Actually the part I hate most about BB is the winning because it's all a bit shallow. I know it's the build up to have one HM left at the end (or four if you count recent years) but it would be much better if they played a game within a game rather than just exist in a house

Anthony, deciding whether or not to nominate this morning, was pure torture to watch.

Well the only housemate who has it is Anthony. I have finally decided that Anthony, slow? maybe, gormless? for sure, fit? debatable, has the spirit of the BB house.

He rarely gets into rows, he enters each task with gusto, he enjoys himself without getting too stroppy or argumentative. I like him lots now.

I really like Anthony. I thought it was kind of him yesterday when Kemal was having a row with Science in the kitchen over the cutlery - and he walked outside to Makosi and told her that maybe Kemal needed to talk, and that she would be the ideal one to help him.

Anfony is a bit of a lad, but his heart seems to be in the right place. The only time I've actually laughed from what I've seen of this series of BB was when Anthony was in the diary room as the dinner guest of BB. He showed great sportsmanship and this comes across in his dealings with other people.

How on earth he puts up with Craig and all his simpering and petty tantrums, I've no idea, but it's to his credit that he does.

I don't know if we should applaud Anthony or not, I only wish he had done this sooner. I get the feeling he might say what he thinks this week seeing as there are no more nominations. He has played it safe through-out (except when he threw up everywhere), getting on with everyone, being placid even when Science was winding him up. Now we might get see what Anthony behaves like when he gets peed off!

Anthony's little bunny hops on the bed with his little legs going in and out furiously made me laugh out loud tonight!


Then when he jumped on the bed with Makosi and Craig and laid down, Craig was down lying next to him on the bed quicker than a really really quick thing!

why does Anthony continue to sit in the same room as Craig, why does he keep apologising to Craig, why why why! it is driving me mad.


I really felt sorry for Anthony tonight at the end, I thought he was going to cry. But I'm afraid I can't have too much sympathy for anyone who stays in the same room with someone who makes them so unhappy when there is really no need to. I mean it's not as though they are married or that Anthony is financially dependent on Craig, is it?

He's scared of him Dol, and scared of what will happen if he does get up and walk out the room. Craig will have a flying fit and Anthony will feel responsible. He should have told him weeks ago to bog off. Too late now.

Anthony was teetering, in my opinion, between having a breakdown, bursting into tears or punching Craig's sulky bloody face in.

I cant believe that every single night now, Craig pulls a flouncy strop in order to engage in an argument to get Anthony to give him attention. Its all about me me me, with Craig isnt it?

Oh my god, Dol, I noticed that too !!!!! As soon as Anthony lay down, Craig was next to him immediately, looking adoringly.

I cant believe that Craig actually has the nerve to deny that he doesnt fancy/love Anthony........... its almost painful to see how needy Craig is, and how quickly he takes advantage of a potential situation in order to perve or touch poor Anferny.....

No matter what Anthony does Craig will always find fault. Why did Anthony have to apologise to Craig in the first place, to me he was perfectly entitled to tell Craig to take a hike. If Craig wanted to have a go at anyone it should have been Makosi, after all it was her who lured Craig into her little trap to get him wound up. He didn't go shouting at Makosi though did he, because he knows that Makosi can stand up to him, instead he makes Anthony feel guilty for doing nothing! I cannot stand people like Craig who constantly play the sympathy vote and make the other party feel guilty.

I guarntee that in months to come Anthony will be scum in Craig's book and he will be saying nasty things about him and saying that Anthony destroyed him.

The row between Anthony and Makosi last night was an eye opener. Not only did she belittle his attempts at a hairdressing career, she was snide and arrogant......... and Craig didnt defend Anthony ONCE !!!!!! Imagine the hoo ha, if it had been the other way around?


Quite honestly, Anthony doesnt deserve to win the programme as all he has done is sit on the fence, play safe, be as dull as ditchwater and not be strong enough with an obvious bunny boiling Craig.

I have never ever seen Anthony initiate a conversation. Ever. He is friendly and will join in conversations, but if someone doesnt start one up with him, he is content to sit staring out of the window with his mouth open. He is totally personality less....

While I think he deserves a medal for the way he has put up with Craig, I think the reason he has done so well in this area is because he is stupid, dull and slow. Anyone else with an ounce of get-up-and-go would have put Craig firmly in his place by now.

Finally I dont like Anthony because he is shallow as a puddle.
He told Kinga and Eugene the other day that, "I dont go for fat, ugly birds" - Kinga looked a little offended by this remark and Anthony, digging himself ever deeper in the hole he was creating, said, "Well sum fat birds av got pretty faces, like, but I dornt go forrem...."

Sorry, but Anthony is a conceited, insensitive moron who seems to have just drifted through Big Brother, keeping quiet, sitting on the fence and hoping no notices him enough to nominate him.

He is a bit too young for me, even though he has said to Craig that he has been intimate with a 38 year old! Somehow the appeal just wouldn't be there for me.........am I alone in this thought? :ohmy:

Anthony's determined not to join in any bitching sessions about Eugene. He has obviously worked out that Eugene is a genuine guy and Anthony doesn't want to be perceived as a bitcher. And on the whole he hasn't been.

Two things about Anferney. Firstly, I have just realised just how much Ant relied on Craig! Last night, he was absolutely lost without him.

The other thing, which made me giggle actually, was when Big Brother announced at 9.30pm - "would all housemates move to the living room, immediately..." and Anferney actually went in the opposite direction, to collect his best clothes just in case there was an eviction ! What is it with people who are so obviously overweight, that they wear the wrong size clothes?!! Do they honestly think that if they wear a size 10, it makes them feel better?

Joy, I think he has had one but they split up. I read it in a magazine a couple of weeks ago when I was at the hairdressers.

I've just popped out to buy a magazine and I noticied a small picture of Anthony and his fiancee on the front cover of the OK Mag and the message was something like "I'll never forgive Anthony for what he's done with Makosi" so I presumed he was still engaged? :)

The thing with these magazine, there are sooooo many of them giving different versions.
