View Full Version : Meeting yourself coming back
Marmoset 03-06-2005, 11:01 PM I'm so busy my mind is totally puddled (so what's new?)
At the moment I'm house watching for a friend (visit every day a 6 mile walk round trip) if I don't go every day I feel guilty!
Looking after my friend's horse while she is sunning herself in the Algarve.
Trying to get 3 paintings done for a forthcoming exhibition. Its a juried exhibition so I might well do three and none get picked!
Coping with intermittent toothache (mine and Jimi's...apparently the gurning could be due in part to his back molars coming through) he's teething, bless him!
Struggling with all this walking cos I broke my second biggest toe yesterday. (don't ever run for a bus wearing toe post sandals).
On top of that I am feeling tired, all day every day, been like that for a few weeks now, maybe its my age. went to a party last Saturday and I swear I still haven't recovered. It was marvellous fun tho!
Guess I am just moaning really :)

Critique 03-06-2005, 11:16 PM Awww, moan away Marmy - sounds like you need a rest (as if you need telling that). Hope things settle down for you soon. Ouch for your poor toe. Life just seems to throw everything at ya at once sometimes.
Gelastic 04-06-2005, 08:08 AM Sounds like you're entitled to a good moan Marmoset, talk about burning the candle at both end.
Hope it all eases up soon!

Arrrrrrrrr Marmy -that is so cute, poor Jimi, but bless, teething!!
And poor you being so busy busy busy, if I were my MiL I would say, it will all pass soon enough!! And couldn't you just stamp on me? But think positively - think of all the pounds you will be shedding on your walks - and think how healthy and fit your heart will be?
Poor toe!! Ouch!!
You moan away M - sometimes everything just comes all at once doesn't it?
Sorry to hear about your toe that must be really painful
Hoping you feel less under pressure soon ....
Voice of reason 04-06-2005, 10:56 AM Aww M  Sometimes everything seems to happen at once. I hope everything calms down soon and that that toe gets better too :)
Marmoset 04-06-2005, 09:19 PM Thanks folks!
I got up at 11am today :) feel a bit more chilled out now although my toe is a bit of a pain still and a lovely greeny blue, it looks like a fat caterpillar!
I have just run a bath with muchos rose geranium essential oil, have a bottle of zinfandel chilling and am going to down the lot whilst listening to Chopins nocturnes.

secrets 04-06-2005, 09:30 PM You know running for a bus has to be one of the most pointless things in life, you usually miss it anyway.
There is always another one that comes along.
I have seen people get killed doing it - and it is very sad.
Hope your toe heals soon babe.
Sounds like your having a tough time right now Marmy! Hope you feel better soon :)
I met myself coming back a few times this morning between Southampton and Brighton, trying to find the M3.
Hope you are feeling better Marmy.
xx

Good to hear you are feeling more chilled, M
Marmoset 06-06-2005, 11:44 PM Thanks ILS...funny Im not a moaner (honest) it was just one of those days where everything seems to either go wrong or you think, how on earth am I gonna get everything done???
Bad way to think, 'sod it' is going to be my philosophy now!
M
We all have days like that sometimes M and this is a great place to have a moan about it, because sometimes that's the best way, to cope with it. You can get it off your chest, without bothering your loved ones and next time it is much easier to say oh 'sod it!' :D
