The BBC website has reported that workers are being encouraged to wear thermals to cut down on the use of energy to heat.

What do you think about this? Would you be prepared to dress warmly at work so they could turn the heating right down?

I personally think they might be better off encouraging people to strip to save the energy used on air-con as most offices I've worked in have been really cold even in the winter!

Oh yes - what a great idea.

You know when I am really cold at home I put the heating on, and this has the desired effect of warming me up, I then take clothes off and wander round with vests on. But then continual heat makes me drowsy and lethargic.

If I fight the cold with layers, not only do I remain warm, but I am more motivated to work a bit harder, am less drowsy and do not feel lethargiv!

Thermals are the way forward!!

Put them on your Xmas list!! And shop at Damart!

Lol our boss is so tight we don't get heat at work, we sometimes have to crack the ice in the buckets to use the water.

Wearing tights under your trousers works okay, but you get some strange looks if you have an accident and have to go to hospital.:bag:
