I done the Race for Life yesterday.........in the pouring rain! It was still a great atmosphere and it was fun to do plus the walk was round Arthur's Seat so you took in the whole of the City. We walked it in just under an hour, luckily it was only drizzling when we started the walk although there was a huge downpour as we were doing our warm-up to Show Me The Way To Amarillo!! It was quite emotional reading some of the messages and one guy proposed to his girlfriend who had just recently lost her mum to cancer!

Thanks to all of you who sponsered me, it is for a worthwhile cause and your money will be put to a fantastic cause. Thank you, it was greatly appreciated!

I am going to do it every year and who knows maybe even next year I will run it.......better start training now! :laugh:

I did it last year to raise money in memory of my friend who died of ovarian cancer at 42 a few weeks before the run and it is a great feeling when you know you are doing something to help such a good cause.
