Thanks for the memories. ils 02-07-2005, 07:34 AM This is very sad, I always enjoyed his music. Patsy 02-07-2005, 08:40 AM I was really saddened to hear this today. We have lost the voice of an angel. God rest his soulful soul. Dolores 02-07-2005, 09:06 AM poor old Luther. I've got some of his stuff on vinyl at the back of my cupboard. he had a lovely soulful voice. What did he die of? He had huge problems with his weight didn't he. One minute balloned right up next minute slim and trim. dab 02-07-2005, 09:20 AM The news reports all say the cause of his death is "undisclosed", Dol. ils 02-07-2005, 09:22 AM It says on the BBC news website that the cause of death was not given but he never fully recovered from the stroke he had 2 years ago.... So sad... Fee For All 02-07-2005, 10:50 AM His music was never to my taste, but what a sad end to his career. bridge 03-07-2005, 05:17 PM It's sad, i don't think the weight gain and then loss helped him either. Andrea 03-07-2005, 08:12 PM Oh wow. I saw Luther's name in the title of the thread and thought, noooooo he's surely not died. The music industry and everyone has lost a very talented man. Groucho 03-07-2005, 10:33 PM  Really upset because I cant find a good Luthers dead joke! tonee 09-07-2005, 09:22 PM I must be really behind with the times cause I didnt hear this news. I really liked one of his last songs "Dance with my father" even though it was quite cheesy, the sentiment behind it was quite lovely. Lovely voice. |
