It's that Tesco time again and you know you are going to have to push and shove your way round but you can only do it today because Mr. C is home early and the cupboard/fridge/freezer are all bare.

And

DYJHIW hubby comes in and tells you that he's not working on Sunday for a change, but just as you are thinking of somewhere nice to go he tells ya that it means he can now go to the Sandown Air Show - Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

DYJHIW you have a speech on a film for french class and you go to the library ten minutes before class to get the tape so you can show a clip, and when you put the tape in the VCR at the library to fast forward to the right clip, it gets stuck in the VCR.....and then it takes two librarians and myself to get the VCR taken apart to get the film out. And in the process you cut your finger on a piece of metal in the VCR and are bleeding all over but not realizing it...but you get the tape out and try another VCR...and at that point realize there is blood all over the case for the tape and you realize it is coming from your finger....so you are trying to stop the bleeding and fast forward to the correct part of the film simultaneously....you then show up in class 20 minutes late completely frazzled and the whole class wondering what the hell just happened to you.

Yeah, that just happened. lol

DYJHIW

I cant really eat solid food just now, although I have managed to scoff bits of light cheese and strawberries so I am quite happy. However, my body is currently pain free because really there is nothing to digest and it is telling me I am hungry but I cant eat because of the consequences of it all. and so the cycle continues. if i satisfy the hunger because i feel alright, i'll spend the next couple of days vomiting. bla bla bla.
so, looks like my 14th or 15th operation is approaching again (that old chestnut). so, dyjhiw your body is not working as you would like it to?

thanks but to be honest, it is normal for me now. some people still find that hard to get but it is true. ive been there with cholecystitis, a knock on with crohns, and had this removed. my poor body, too many knives and forks used for all sorts of reasons. my big annoyance at the moment is that i am hungry and pain free but holding the knowledge that i cant eat even though i feel that i can....walked past a guy today eating a bag of chips and nearly jumped on him. maybe im pre-menstrual as well!!!

I did all my other jobs yesterday - and i really dont know what to do with myself. The trouble is, im in one of those moods where there is loads that i could do, but i really cant be arsed. I could clean out the birds and bunny, take the dog for a walk, go to Tescos .... but how boring is that !!!

DYJHIW...

It's a beautiful day out but you wake up feeling achey and full of pain, then other half informs you that he is going off flying yet again this afternoon so you feel tearful and depressed!

I really need to snap out of it. We're going on holiday to spain on the 16th June but instead of looking forward to it as I should be I just can't be bothered with all the washing, ironing, packing, deciding what to take and what not to take, etc. It feels like old age has set in overnight!

I suppose DH thinks I have a holiday every day because I don't go to work but it's the sheer boredom of spending every day cleaning and tidying up and washing and cooking, or not doing it and feeling guilty because you know that being at home all day means you should have a sparkling spotless home and you shouldn't expect DH to come home from work and do it.

It makes me feel worse knowing that I am being unreasonable and I don't want to do the "nagging wife" bit. I don't know why all this resentment is building up in me. We've always let each other do whatever they want, whether it's him going off flying every spare day or me sitting on the computer.

Oh well, ignore me, I just needed to vent.

He has spent the day in the bathroom sulking, and then came downstairs for an hour and slept in the chair, and then decided to go out and have a bonfire.

I just went out to tell him Top Gear was on, and he asked me to record it. I then asked when he would be in, as i would like my dinner some time today - and he wouldnt answer

That's horrible Floops, I can't imagine being without a driving license.

Get over to the Lazy Bint's thread Gel. You'll have it done in no time.

DYJHIW your husband is put under 90 day threat of redundancy. He works for a local refrigeration company that was recently taken over and now they are getting rid of two thirds of the staff. The worst bit is not knowing if he will be kept on or not so he doesn't know whether to start looking for another job.

Thank you all for your messages of support when I posted about Mr M being on threat of redundancy. It seems we won't know anytime soon whether he will be one of the ones kept on. We have since found out that the firm that took over his have only leased the place until January so it looks as if the whole place may fold up then.
