Up bright and early,showered,make-up on and just a quick tidy up in the kitchen.....a whole twelve hours were to be mine. I thought I'd just prepare my dinner so it was all ready to switch on much later.Quite how I managed it,I'm not sure but a peeled potato managed to fine its way into a gap between the washing machine and the tiled wall.(Rolf Harris moment.....have you guessed what my rant is yet?) Although I tried really hard with tongs,I couldn't extricate the damn potato so it was decision time.Should I just leave it (along with assorted socks which had catapaulted themselves there during the last ....um....er....years or should I really deal with it? I decided I'd better deal with it. :ranting: The washing machine had to be hauled out and it wasn't a pretty sight. The tiled wall was also pretty grubby(no it was filthy ) as well as the floor beneath the machine, the tiles behind the cooker(next to the washing machine),the back of the cooker, the storage baskets in the corner.......and on and on for two hours and a half hours. Today is my day-off.I am now filthy (admittedly I do have a kitchen with all its hidden places reeking of Flash),its 12.45 and I'm going for another shower and will start my day-off again.
