The cat though is absolutely gorgeous although he's been sick a few times!!! and the other night instead of locking him OUT of the front room (cos the hamster's in there) I locked him IN the front room and so I had a pile of poo to clean up!!!

But we are learning to live with each other. He really is a lovely cat.

I'm off today. I'm just about to start tyding up this pit I call my house and something occurred to me. As my usual gardening consultant is off-line, could someone please advise when is the best time to trim my forsythia bush?

Oh I am absolutely monitoring it!!

She nearly gave me a heart attack yesterday.......I arrived at work and she was hiding and the stapler was on the desk and she had........ she had....... I can hardly bring myself to say it........BROKEN IT!!

I did manage to fix it though. She was being too rough with it whilst trying to refill the staples....she gave no thought for it and tried to ram too many new staples into it. I advised her and told her to be more careful in future.

BUT the really bad part was she tried to blame the Head Teacher for it :shocking:

Well yes I do ... preferably one where the excitement doesn't revolve around a stapler or if it does at least make it a more attractive looking one!
Excuse me Mrs my life is ooohh so exciting. I don't think you really appreciated the quality of the stapler. Looks, Dolores are not everything in life, although actually the stapler in the flesh 'so to speak' is very good looking, it has become more than a stapler, it is my friend, the one thing that gets me through the tiresome task of sending out newsletters to parents who would rather not read them, but ring up the school at the most inconvenient times (usually when I am on SO or Cat is on ebay) to ask stupid questions about things that were detailed in the newsletter that their little cherub took home from school the day before.

and breathe.....

So there you go Dolores...my stapler is my friend, not just a piece of office equipment.
