No not a table leg Mars, I took this pic in a hurry as they were waiting for me to post and didn't realise it had the reflection until I up loaded it. Unfortunately it makes it a bit harder as its concealing something on the side that might have given it away.

The top one looks like the end of a belt from which the buckle has been removed but the prong is still on it. The second one is too obscure even to make a guess.
